Another Portal Jumper From South Fla

He's got very good ball skills, he plays with good eye discipline & maintains physicality while in phase & plays through the hands. He's got great size at legit 6'0 195lbs & is a good open field tackler.

He was an EE at UGA but torn his ACL his TF year but worked to comeback by the end of the year (2018) & was able to play in their bowl game vs Texas.

He's wanted to come home for awhile now, he actually would've committed to Miami had we ever offered him his Senior year, but Richt didn't want him. But he's a Miami Immortalz 7v7 kid just like most of our current MNW commits are & in HS he locked up some big time WR's, he shutdown Tyquan Thornton when MNW played BTW his Senior year. Thornton is much faster than him but won that matchup due to technique & physicality.

He also would help us a lot with Shemar Stewart for the 22 class because both Divaad & JW are originally Pace kids just like DVD was. But he definitely wants to come to Miami & has told me personally months before he even entered the portal.

UGA was playing him out of position at the STAR (which is our version of Striker), he's a big Corner that plays with sound technique & physicality, definitely a Press man cover corner with good hips, he doesn't have blazing speed he was about a 4.62 coming out of HS he may have gotten a lil bit faster since being in good S&C program but relatively speaking he's basically a low 4.6/ high 4.5 kid at best, which is not bad at all.

He would start day 1 at Boundary Corner IMO over Ivey & would definitely strengthen our biggest weakness in the secondary at CB2. He Alphonso Jr would be a lockdown cover group with Couch, Williams & Ivey all in rotation & would allow for us to redshirt Marcus Clarke & Isaiah Dunson as TF's so they can learn the position & develop.

If we can make room you take him without question.
I trust in LCE

Good info, had no idea of any of that - just knew there was beef with Frierson at some point.

SIAP, but why do you believe he'd be immediately eligible?

Is it to soon to say Welcome to the U?
Yes.

We might not have room & there will have to be some maneuvering with the lack of IC's.

There's a good chance he goes to UF or UCF because we simply are just too tight with space.

I would like to think that UF is real tight on counters as well with 21 commits and a bunch of guys leaving from their last 2 classes. Hope the blue shirt qualifier of us not recruiting him works out.
