Miami is one of the teams to watch here:

He played in 17 games before suffering a season ending ACL injury. He was the sixth man in Michigan's National Championship team. He carved out a big role with the Wolverines averaging 8.4 PPG, 1.9 REB, and 2.4 AST.

This squad will really go down as one of the best of all time. . . Especially in the 21st century it is right up there with Cal’s AD squad, and the UK Dbook/KAT FF team, UNC 09 team, and the 2 titles in 3 years Villanova teams, and lastly the UF and UConn squads who won back to back.

Totally forgot he was from Lakeland/transferred from FAU when Dusty went to Michigan, so the Miami connection makes a ton of sense

Potential lineup/roster of:

PG - Acaden Lewis - Brent Bland - Quinn Berger

SG - Dante Allen - Nick Dorn - LJ Cason

SF - Shelton Henderson - Caleb Gaskins - Marcus Allen

PF - Robert Miller - desean Goode - Chris Birden

C - Somto Cyril - Egor Whyzof

That is a deep team and adding LJ Cason might put us firmly in the top 10. We would have more depth than Iv seen in my lifetime of watching canes hoops (started in 2012)

That UF matchup in November is going to be a good one….

It’s the best miami team on paper in the programs history. The tournament is a gauntlet but I feel this team absolutely can compete for a national championship

Jai has shown in 2 short years he knows what it takes to build a roster but most importantly complete a roster with capable bodies. Something that drove many of us nuts about L. His refusal to complete the roster

It's also why you don't fill out the entire roster in April and May

Assuming LJ comes back healthy, im thinking he surpasses Dorn pretty easily. And challenges Dante for a starting spot. Also think we can see two SG lineups. Go with Dante and LJ on the court when Acaden is getting a breather. Both are better than Bland.

Miller starting over Goode?
