Winning usually keeps a good culture. Plus more eyes on a team that wins. Scouts come out for the top guys but get to see everyoneWonder how some of the guys recruited earlier are taking this late influx of talent which will undoubtedly impact their minutes.
I personally would start Goode for the spacing to start games.Miller starting over Goode?

Potential lineup/roster of:
PG - Acaden Lewis - Brent Bland - Quinn Berger
SG - Dante Allen - Nick Dorn - LJ Cason
SF - Shelton Henderson - Caleb Gaskins - Marcus Allen
PF - Robert Miller - desean Goode - Chris Birden
C - Somto Cyril - Egor Whyzof
That is a deep team and adding LJ Cason might put us firmly in the top 10. We would have more depth than Iv seen in my lifetime of watching canes hoops (started in 2012)
That UF matchup in November is going to be a good one….
Honestly, I think I am 50/50 on adding Cason as the roster looks very impressive on paper but you have to wonder if there are enough minutes available at some point.
Of course, if he commits to Miami, I will cheer. I am just wondering if he wants to come off the bench as a junior after leaving Michigan. He is a good option to have, especially if Allen has a "sophomore slump".
I don't know if Power 4 players transfer to come off the bench as they normally wants bigger roles and bigger NIL deals.
It's an interesting situation but whatever happens, I am still excited about the upcoming season.
If Marcus is 100%, he can't be happy with that depth chart. At 6'7, 230 I guess he could also see some minutes at PF as well, depending on matchups.Potential lineup/roster of:

He started at FAU, this is a good spot for him to spend the next 2 years.
Yes and no. From his Michigan bio: "Initially committed to Florida Atlantic; reopened recruitment following Dusty May’s move to Michigan and ultimately committed to the Wolverines"

So he was a Michigan freshman and sophomore. Under the 5-in-5 rule, he has 3 more years of eligibility, though he'll spend most of the 2026-27 season injured.
The plan for him initially was if 5 for 5 rule passed he would sit year out, he is not in any rush to come back and demand minutes.Honestly, I think I am 50/50 on adding Cason as the roster looks very impressive on paper but you have to wonder if there are enough minutes available at some point.
