I saw on their page with their work on it that they assisted in the Dan Quinn hiring. Looks like that's working for them. That really seemed like a no brainier though.
 
I'm not one on placing too much emphasis on public demeanor but this dude came off as both weird and impotent during that season of Hard Knocks. That said, gimme him over the Cristobal type hires anyday. Also, if we're going down this route then I call Brian Billick too.

If we're going the AARP route, give me Tressel, Patterson, or Butch.

Smith hasn't coached in college in about 20 years...not a good fit IMO.
 
Seems like a good resume. Don't know enough about him though. What about Brian Billick? Thats an intriguing name.
