Another interesting stat regarding South Florida players

The Antonio Brown story intrigues me. Why did he fly under the radar? Was he a late bloomer? I am sure we did not offer him.

Four of the top 20 rushers in the NFL are from South Florida (Freeman, Gore, Miller, Bernard). That number matches the entire SEC.

Six of the top 25 receivers in the NFL are from South Florida (Antonio Brown, Hilton, Cooper, John Brown, Hurns, Benjamin). That number also matches the entire SEC.

How many of these were 4-5* in hs ... A great football player is a great football player no matter where they are from...
 
All the RBs were 4 stars...

For the WRs, I only remember Cooper (5 star and #1 in the country) and Benjamin and Hurns (both 3 stars)...

Funny to me how many of those names would be labeled "undersized" by college coaches now yet they're killing the NFL
