Another injury-George out

Like another on here said, we had a pretty good walk on flash during the spring. Also, Skinner should move to wr. Lastly, we’ve got a pretty loaded safety room and some corners now, perhaps a guy like Harrel or Curtis can take a stab at it as well.

JPP blew half his fingers off, got a club wrap, and went back out there.

Can't we cast his thumb in a catching position and move on. Might be an improvement.
I blame NIL and social media. Back in OUR day you just cut that **** off if you can't fuse it into a catching position. You still have one opposable thumb. Not like you won't be able to dance with your daughter at her wedding or something.

Our TEs need to step up! They came in with plenty of accolades. Why they aren't a bigger part of the passing game is beyond me.

Ladson could definitely step up. He was thought of as an NFL player. He, unfortunately, got a hernia, an ankle injury, and then a hip. He was a target for Trevor but for some reason, DJ would never look his way last season even when he was wide open. He would lock in on Ngata instead. Frank was one of the fastest WR at Clemson according to his teammates. He's got the hands because he would catch contested balls when Trevor was at QB. Injuries can take some speed away but not your ability to catch.

I’m intrigued by Skinner, haven’t seen enough of him to know if he can play outside but he can at least be a flex option..the other option I’d go with is Curtis, he has the speed and playmaking ability we lack and looks like his lockdown ability was overstated so not a loss to the cb room

He had 27 catches total in the two years Trevor was there, often in mop up duty. The NFL isn't looking at Ladson.

George with a bum thumb probably still catches better than most of our receivers. And they all body catch so can one of them donate their thumb to George

Ronnie Lott approves this message

Like everyone else, I think Skinner needs to move to WR this season. No point in redshirting at TE when there is a need elsewhere, right now. He can move back to TE in the Spring if that’s his eventual position.

He will drop as many as he has with 2 functional hands so I don’t see a problem with what u suggested. BRINSON TIME

As a true freshman and sophomore 27 catches 6 TDs and 407 yards in 16 games. He missed games his freshman year with an ankle injury and only played in 8 games Sophomore year due to Covid and a hip injury. Last year he only played in 4 games and got hurt. I’m just saying when he actually playing he was making plays and scoring TDs

Does anyone know if George had surgery or is having surgery? Typically it’s a 4-6 week recovery.
