Another Decommit!

Pete provides good info, but he's been a tough listen on the pod for months now.

Those saying this is gonna be bad news haven't been listening to it lol

And it isn’t even about providing a different viewpoint. It felt like he’s been trolling and disinterested the majority of his arguments.

It's tough to put yourself out there as ofton as Pete had to do. Think about the swing of emotions this board goes through on a daily basis. It's not as easy as it sounds controlling your emotions and maintaining level headed opinions for hours on end about a team you deeply care about. Some of your anxieties about certain situations can shine through eventually if you're not wired like DMoney.

I think it's obvious Pete valued the integrity of the pod to remain neutral and objective as possible for his own career or otherwise who knows. But it's something he struggled with re: Dmoney because lets be honest - $ emotionally isnt wired to be completely objective all the time and thats ok, its a fan podcast at the end of the day. Maybe that drive to be objective slowly started to creep into a percieved mope zone, which in turn lost the fan base. You can tell that affected him by how he interacted with comments so once he lost the fans then it was only a matter of time... It's better for your sanity (and career) to just move on at that point.
If were being honest, ever since he’s affiliated with the school, its state issued propaganda. He puts out the narrative they want to push

I do understand some of the complaints about Pete but you guys are being too harsh in my opinion. He actually does provide some good insight and he is plugged in to some degree. This might be an unpopular opinion but I don’t see the need to do a show every single day. I think it takes the sting out of it and can get repetitive at times. I personally think 2 to 3 times a week for about 45 minutes an episode would be great.

You get a grip! If you listened to what he said about our defensive line last summer, you would feel the same way. I didn’t like the guy and I’m stating it and if you don’t like what I have to say, block me.
Brother, I’m one of the very first people that voiced displeasure with the daily podcasts and how I don’t listen anymore because of Ariz. In my opinion, you’ve gone too far and for far too long. And it works both ways. For instance, I’m stating my opinion and if you don’t like what I have to say, block me.

Love Peter like a brother but I think the daily show was limiting him. He has a lot of other interests in media and I will be right there with him.
Now that Pete has commented that he was let go after the show yesterday without knowing, can you provide more context on the direction you want to take CIS and why Pete wasn’t part of that vision?
His video was pretty accurate, but I didn’t want him off football coverage. Just less shows per week. The daily show was too much to maintain peak energy IMO.

He will do a great job on his channel.

That’s your opinion, not mine. Like I said, you don’t like what I have to say, block my posts. I couldn’t care less.

Looks like Petey has decommited from CIS

Was one of the biggest and most vocal Cam Ward HATERS associated with this program…

He was never my cup of tea but didn’t like nor dislike him UNTIL….

His disdain for *1 began seeping out of his pours and for that I say 🤭🫳🏽
