ANOTHER cane on the browns

lol.... Reminds me of the Colts...

Unfortunately that lasted only a year. I think this Cleveland group is going to have staying power. I'm a believer in Mayfield, though, and I know a lot of people have their doubts. Time will tell. But if he's the goods, Duke and Njoku are going to benefit big time. ****, maybe Marquez catches a ball out of the backfield and rumbles into the end zone, lol.

They’re on an upward trajectory well after you win 0 games you can only go up .. but they maybe a playoff team in a couple years if Baker is the right guy .. and they continue to draft and develop well

browns clearly trying to win the superbowl this season

Dallas Cane of the 1990s: 1-15 in 1989 then Jimmy brought in the Canes, made playoffs by 1991, won SB in 1992, 1993 and 1996.

WR Michael Irvin (1988-99)
QB Steve Walsh (1989-90)
DL Willie Lee Broughton (1989-91)
LB Randy Shannon (1989-90)
LB Rod Carter (1989 drafted)
DT Dan Sileo (1989-90 Camp)
DT Jimmie Jones (1990-93)
DE Danny Stubbs (1990-91)
FB Alonzo Highsmith (1990-91)
TE Charles Henry (1990 Camp)
DT Russell Maryland (1991-95)
TE Alfredo Roberts (1991-92)
OL Mike “Sully” Sullivan (1991)
LB Bernard Clark (1992)
LB Darrin Smith (1993-96)
WR Kevin Williams (1993-96)
QB Bernie Kosar (1993)
TE Coleman Bell (1993)
CB Robert “Beetle” Bailey (1995)

Crazy thing is the Cowboys never had a Cane until they drafted Irvin in 1988...

Haley wasn’t a Cane

Hopefully the Browns don't continue to suck with all these Canes going there.

Not sure how many will make the team but we do have 5 guys that should make the team and potentially start, Duke and Njoku could be leaders on the offense and Chad could surprise many as well.

Cleveland Browns
29 Duke Johnson, 4 (2012-14), RB (348 yards rushing and 4 TDs on 82 rushes, 74 catches for 693 yards and 3 TDs)
85 David Njoku, 2 (2015-16), TE (32 catches for 386 yards and 4 TDs)
## Chad Thomas, R (2014-17), DE (Drafted 3rd Rd, #67)
42 Marquez Williams, 2 (2016), FB (Free Agent)
8 Justin Vogel, 2 (2014-16), P (71 punts for 3,155 yards, 44.4 Avg)
## Jermaine Grace, 2 (2013-15), LB (Signed 5/2/18)
## Trevor Darling, R (2014-17) OL (Tryout)

even though duke is the best RB on the team, i don't see him getting much use there. They wouldn't even give him the ball last year and that's before they threw loads of money at carlos hyde.

He was clearly Cleveland’s most productive player and had 7 tds and amassed over 1000 yards receiving and rushing combined

I just think they could have used him in the rushing game more. They used him like sproles, but duke is tougher than that and could handle more rushing attempts. but i'm not a nfl coach so what do i know. crowell had 1k combined yards too.
