Was at the game (ughh). Our seats were right behind the bench (about the 40yd line 5th row), and my son and I watched the Canes on the sidelines. Rosier, Thomas, Harley, etc. just sat on the bench all night like a bunch of mopes. Berrios paced the sidelines and kept coming back to the guys sitting trying to get them up and into the game, but they just sat there. In the 3rd quarter, he gave up trying to talk to them and stood off by himself. For the rest of the game he stood by himself on the sideline with his helmet, looking like he was dying to get back in, while the rest of the offensive skill players looked like they quit. At the end of the game he was kneeling on the sideline by himself- looked he wanted nothing to do with the other guys.
He is a true Cane. UM greatness was made by 2-3 star guys who came in and played over their heads. I would love to have a team of guys who play like Berrios.
wait 2 star?
Ni99a was well known around the recruiting circuit
Also u would give up talking to them too if your QB cant back it up and make throws
1st, wouldn't give up because QB can't make throws. Would give up if my teammates acted like they didn't care.
2nd, as far as stars, Berrios was a 4 star. I'm talking about the attitude he has. For every 4 star UM had in the past, we had twice as many Albert Bentleys, Bernard Clarks, and others who were lightly recruited but balled out at UM, and a lot of it was because of their toughness.
