old, new, thats not the point. if we cant even get a bagman to know his place and shut his mouth..how can some of u really expect top 5 classes? were behind the 8 ball in more ways than one.

yeah, im mad our bagman couldnt stfu. im mad our team cant reel in the top prospects. im mad i am a diehard cane fan that's addicted to canes related material, but yet i hear the same moaning about our staff being too incompetent to reel in the big fish. i'm mad that it may never be an even playing field for us. even though were located in the most talent prospective areas in the country, we cant win the coastal. thanks for the neg venice, i look forward to reading your al golden sucks threads.

Shapiro weaseling himself into contact with players is a far cry from the actions of the conspiratory SEC bagmen.

Drew palming hundreds to under-prepared draft prospects isn't the same thing either.

Excellent read! Crazy to think of. Even if the NCAA agree to pay players, it still wouldn't solve the problem.

I don't think he is as active as he once was but I can tell you, he made a lot of purchases.
 
The story also took numerous shots at us. The part where the guy says bagmen don't jump in pictures next to the head coach after a big win reminded me of all the things that clown did here at the U to feel cool.

It also explicitly said we were the how not to be a bagman example.

If he did it was to existing players to become their agent, not to recruits to get them to Miami. Not the same thing.
