And Now This...Jameis 340 autographs

The problem with Crablegs' case is that the 340 items apparently were signed at the same place on the same day. That would indicate he signed a bunch of stuff for the seller for money. Hard to believe he would sign 340 items out of the kindness of his heart for the seller to name some money off of his name.

See my post above....for poor unfortunate who get apprenticed to a mean shopowner who doesn't give them enough porridge and sends them to bed hungry sharing an unheated stable with an old horse.

By the way, ever see some of that Japanese ****? Some strange stuff, like all those young newsreader videos, eh?

Never underestimate Japanese perversion.

I don't... If we could convince the Japanese people that there really was a distant planet inhabited solely by teenage schoolgirls and tentacle monsters we'd have faster than light interstellar travel in ten, fifteen years tops...

But I digress...

He's an idiot, but honestly, people should be able to make money off their own name. That being said, I think he's played his last game at FSU

they should be, but the rules are not in his favor. the problem is not that he accepted, but his dumbassedness hurts his team. they easily could have lost to Clemson because of him.

Its 950 now lol image.webp

Um....raising hand slowly....

Why would Fisher ask Jameis and put any trust in that? Crablegs lied to the whatever committee about his vulgar outburst, right? Why would anyone believe what this guy says anymore? I know winning championships are important, but there's a certain line that you shouldn't cross unless you want a stain on you and your school's reputation.

DThat crableg stain ain't ever coming out.

Winston is toxic, the University is under a microscope, this will not go away IMO, until well after Rapist has move on. This course of conduct by Winston, most of which he has gotten away with will only make his life more difficult.

This isn't going away because it's not about what Winston (et al.) did, it's about how FSU handled what winston(et al.) did.

JW and his lawyers can spin what he did, but try to explain if you can what FSU was up to in covering up those episodes (read the nytimes article). FSU is required to enforce compliance with title IX. And their players are not supposed to get extra benefits because of their status as student athletes. All of this is in NCAA jurisdiction.

Btw who is paying for all these lawyers? Ain't cheap

Florida State is in a very bad spot. That town lives off of money generated by the football team. I read somewhere about how much the city makes when there is a game in town. It was seven digits. It's gonna hurt them to lose some of that. According to the NY Times article, the Tallahassee police get a nice share of that by doing security and other jobs during games.

But now college football fans and the media are starting to put pressure on them to do the moral thing; to admit its wrong doings of how it put winning above all else and tried to hide it. During the next few weeks, FSU is going to have to make a choice. They need to decide to put morals first and kick Jameis off the football team. The guy has just screwed up too many times. Texas, Notre Dame, Miami and other schools are making FSU look like an immoral community college acting like a state university. It's clear that Fisher has decided to put aside decency and morals in order to win. You can stand by your player, but when you allow a player like Jameis to play like nothing is going on, then you are not helping him any more. You're setting him up to fail in life. Fisher is not going to budge.

So it's up to FSU to decide. Do they continue to spit in the face of humanity for football glory and a nice payday, or are they going to stand up for what is right. But at this point, it's really too late. They have reacted too slowly to a huge problem. They have proved to the country that their leaders have no clue in leadership. They are just reacting to what everyone is saying now that their shady dealings are being uncovered. It's nothing but damage control but this is going to be with FSU for a long, long time.

same guy has authenticated Duke Johnson gear.

I took a quick look but there seemed to be the random signed helmet but everything else was just stuff sold in stores, like his No. 8 jersey. And a lot of the items on the list are even Duke's. Something from Duke University or someone with the name Johnson. Maybe I missed all the signed good stuff. If you take a look at Jameis' stuff, a lot of it has been signed by him. Seems like a big difference there but maybe someone here knows more about that site.

Duke Johnson list

Winston Jameis list

FSU, a school committed to winning, something we desperately lack in Miami

Accepting money for a jersey or signature is bull****. I dont blame the kids for doing that. However, raping a girl, stealing, and jumping on a table and shouting profanities are not the way I would want to win anything.

dude i do that every weekend

Yeah, but if you're under a rape investigation, you would have to be quite a few chocolates short of a full box to be standing on a table in public and expressing your unwanted sexual desires.

Good grief, once again, it's not about the authenticator. The authenticator analyzes the autograph to make sure it is legitimate. If I get Duke to sign a jersey, I will send it to JSA. I've taken items to James Spence Jr. at memorabilia shows. They have nothing to do with this. Where you don't want to get caught is signing for the guy who sends all of these items to JSA in bulk. HE is the one who is paying players to sign for him.
