Like someone else said, JSA's authentication numbers are in order, meaning that they were submitted by one client, not a bunch of fans. And for the record, JSA is the industry leader with an impeccable reputation, so the investigation should have nothing to do with them. They simply signed off on the autos as being legit.

not sure if serious. FSU does everything they can to win and UM doesn't. FSU has given this kid numerous chances and has missed one game. AQM at Miami a first time offender is kicked out of school. Bottom line is FSU sees the big picture and UM is too concerned about not ruffling any feathers and over penalizing a school money maker to send a message

to be fair, do u think AQM would be suspended if he was as good as JW on the field? AQM isn't even on the same level playing field in terms of importance to the team as JW is for FSU.

to ur main point: FSU is going to end up paying for the way they handled the JW situation (either w the Title 9 investigation or NCAA penalties). they have been crucified by the media and have completely destroyed any credibility they have with the public.

If it was duke, the university would still suspend him just like aqm. IMO. Which is rediculous for the offense.

As far as everything with jamious. Call me when something happens. Big deal, article here article there. Meanwhile they are selling out every game and reigning champs. Fsu will all protect each other. Nothing to see here. IMO.
 
agree with the posters above and think that FSU will be penalized or burn for this. the reason they will is because their greed of winning clouded their judgement and will cost them in the long run. my point is that they went a very long way before calling the dogs off where UM makes football's life hard by booting a player from the school who is no longer enrolled at UM (one of our better players) for fighting his roommate and first offense. not defending JW at all as I personally think he is one of the bigger pieces of **** to ever play college ball but am getting at the administrations hunger difference and commitment to winning
 
For the record, I hope Winston gets caught. The guy is just getting away with too many things. That said, explain to me when say a HC and a player sign a football or a photo. Is this illegal? Matter of fact, is it illegal to sign autographs or is it if money exchanges hands that makes the situation illegal?
 
The problem with Crablegs' case is that the 340 items apparently were signed at the same place on the same day. That would indicate he signed a bunch of stuff for the seller for money. Hard to believe he would sign 340 items out of the kindness of his heart for the seller to name some money off of his name.
 
If there is such a thing as karma, she has a lot of **** to throw back at Winston. This kid is a piece of human trash. One day he'll get his.

obviously, there's too much smoke for there not to be a fire. however, without any evidence as to him actually receiving funds, ie a paper trail, or video showing him getting money, nothing will come of it. they're gonna play this out n he'll be drafted by the time anything comes to light. See my post above....for poor unfortunate who get apprenticed to a mean shopowner who doesn't give them enough porridge and sends them to bed hungry sharing an unheated stable with an old horse.

By the way, ever see some of that Japanese ****? Some strange stuff, like all those young newsreader videos, eh?
 
Can a player sign a contract guaranteeing future earnings but not take any money at the time of signing the autographs and still be compliant?

I'm enjoying the famous Jameis show but I won't throw stones on this one. Seems to me that just when any fan base least expects it - something like this can pop up. Manziel, Gurley, Winston...... as long as these things bring in $$ - they will find an athlete willing to take the risk as it's against the amateur rules.

That said.....I'm glad he's not a Cane and I will, in the end, have to thank him for absolutely DRAGGING fsu through the mud in an almost mad cap devil may care fashion. It's fricken entertaining!!
