Analysts gone w Lashlee - anyone know them?

They’ll likely be position coaches. SMU doesn’t have the luxury of picking and choosing experienced and successful position coaches like a major P5 program. G5 programs don’t operate in the same stratosphere as an SEC program. Or even Miami.
Agree, and I think one flier is fine, but at least get some lower level guy to come over who has some gameday experience.

Right now SMU has a DL coach that was LB coach at Kansas, Special teams guy was in the XFL and also was at Kansas, was first SMU's analyst then got internally promoted, their CB coach is their version of DVD, TE coach came from ASU, Safety coach was a DC at liberty then analyst at texas then SMU, WR coach was an analyst from TCU, OL coach was an OL coach at mizzou, QB coach was RB coach at App State and DC is Jim Leavitt who has been all over (FAU, Oregon, Kstate, USF. 49rs, Colorado).

All and all you are correct most of these guys arent the cream of the crop at their position but a majority at least had some on field experience.

LSU Writers say he is trying to get Blake Baker to be DC and LSU is hoping he stays.

More and more it seems like it was Manny’s scheme and recruiting decisions.
It always has been. Dude is a loser who should have never been hired.

Same guys he came in with.. those were "his guys" so to say
Almost all coaches, have their guys.

The best ones are willing to go out on a limb when they need to in order to succeed. Lashlee is still climbing, so he'll have a chance to show where hes at in a couple years.

When all he had to worry about was his defense, it wasn't that bad. But his defense has holes in it...bad holes, and it is so gimmicky.

He goes to bed with the most tackles for loss...and wakes up with the most missed tackles, most big plays given up...etc...etc.

Its like partying all night and waking up with a hangover....then doing it again every weekend.

On top of that you take 1-2 of these guys to help with the budget and allows you spend more on the rest of the on field staff. These guys are like Manny brining over the Bartender and Patke.

Lashlee is following the proper career trajectory that manny should have:

G5 OC
P5 OC

G5 HC

P5 HC (hopefully)
