that guy was the best.

the 1:40 mark where his wife talks about them meeting at spring break -- RIP, marty!

He could coach any position on the field. If remember seeing some video of him coaching at the Sr. Bowl and it was impressive how he could break down every technique and keys that were needed for any position. RIP Marty!!

He's probably dying to come here

Kevin Sumlin would be a good offensive analyst, he’s definitely not getting a HC job anywhere & there was actually rumors Saban might bring him in as an Analyst for Bama this year, but hasn’t happened yet.

Or go get Christian Taylor the OC of William & Mary who was at University of San Diego & is one of the best upcoming X’s & O’s gurus & will be in the next class of young OC’s who will get bumped up to G5/P5 that will have immediate success. He set records at USD having back to back top 5 offenses that put up a ton of points. You bring him in as a QC coach & groom him to takeover after Lashlee gets another job next year.

On Defense, Pat Bastien from Immokalee, former CB’s coach at Marshall & Georgia Southern, he was also a GA at UGA after he graduated from UAB. He’d be a good DB coach to keep in the tuck to potentially elevate if TRob left after this season.

Tony Davis from Central Arkansas or Brick Haley as a Defensive Analyst & successor to Jess Simpson at DL coach.

I'd like to see Manny reach out to Tom Landry and see if he could help out as an analyst.

Incredible these pie-in-the-sky suggestions.

This is as comical as someone suggesting months back that Miami make a run at UCF athletic director Danny White—as if he'd take a step backwards to work for at Miami (which has always been a joke of a job for AD's, or at best a stepping stone for guys like Hocutt and Eichorst.)

White held out and landed the Tennessee gig—as he was only taking a bigger job after Central Florida, not smaller.

Tom Herman is a Big 12 guy who did some time in the Big Ten. IF he was going anywhere as an analyst, it would be to a more premier program than Miami—with deeper pockets.

As for Randy Shannon, who ever said he wanted to be an analyst? Still under contract at UCF as a defensive coordinator and if Malzahn doesn't retain him—he'll land another coaching gig.
Jesus, the self loathing in this post is disgusting.

Can Miami just hire coaches that can get the job done.. Ppl talk about Saban but he one of a kind at this level, Miami needs #1 coaches that can coach and then coaches that can recruit.. Pull out the check book and pay the right ppl to come in and get it right..
