This is a Good Move for the kid...There is not enough balls in the back field at UM...Yearby..Gus..Waldon..Gray.. Homer..then maybe burns... he would be deep down the chart Imo...FSU just had a major lost at his position...smart on his part... I'm glad its him not Homer

I'm happy as **** with just Homer and hopefully Fils-Aime.

I think we get fils-aime if Byrd sticks, and we really need him to stick, because he's a beast.

And maybe that other kid from 2017 class will be able to move to this class. Rasul wasn't an important piece imp. Yes I would have taken him, but I definitely wasn't expecting him to stick.

“What made me flip was pretty much I was looking at the future,” Rasul told the Miami Herald. “UM really didn’t have a good season [last] year, Golden will probably be gone and they’ll be looking for a new head coach. I didn’t want to be in that situation going into my freshman year.

“Ultimately, I think UM is a good school. It’s an awesome school, but at the moment I think FSU’s a better school for me.”

LMAO. I despise Folden.

Reason why dude flipped is due to him buying that dumbass promise theyll only take like one RB each class.

He been reading Twitter and these boards too much.

Yeah, man. It's not the 6-7 record that's scaring kids away. It's this board and social media. Yep.

you do know the 6-7 record was last year right. and this kid signs in Feb. he is acting like this season we went 6-7 and he is about to sign. it was a cop out man.

Get it together, man. He isn't the only one from SoFla that's told Golden and crew no thanks. These kids aren't dumb and neither are their parents and handlers.

Your right he isnt the only one. but he is the part of the ones that we knew would de-commit from the start. Miami is not a Track School and personally i have no clue why and FSU is. he may not even finish his football career there go to track full time. he needed a good excuse that everyone would buy and he executed perfectly. I can see Dexter Williams doing it because it just happend but this kid here naw man. gotta be smarter then that.

Sounds like the kid is scared of competing. When he committed he made the comment about Miami only taking one back. He wants a school that only takes one back....why? Is it because he really isn't a good football player and the only thing he has is straight line speed? Im not down on the kid and I would've liked to have him, but doesn't it strike anyone as strange that he only had about 900 yards in a bad conference? To me he doesn't scream elite or even great.

The whole scared of competition argument is hilarious.

You guys are blind homers if you think players are leaving Miami for FSU because Miami has more talent.

Amir Rasul, the state's top running back in the 2016 class, told our David Furones that one reason he flipped his oral commitment from UM to FSU is that Al “Golden will probably be gone.” Posted by Barry Jackson 07/30/2015 at 07:19 PM

It's not really the 6-7 record, but the reality that it contributes to his realistic perception that Al Golden will be gone and UM will be going to hire a new coach. Not one could accuse FSU of negaive recruiting, etc., but he didn't want to deal with a new coach who may not like his running style, maybe
