Lots of tears coming from either FSU or Miami for the loser. Lots of hype and not a ton of info out there to truly have an idea where this kid goes. It’s a showdown finally in recruiting. Mario has to win this one

I completely agree on the grammar. It's embarrassing. They don't even proof read articles before they put them out or after. They could easily go back and edit the article if they'd give it one more read even after they posted it.

Basically, they need a subscription to Grammarly. 🤣🤣🤣

Ive only seen FSU mentioning FSU honestly. When it broke out that Mims was transferring all that was mentioned was Miami per UGA. Its interesting too that since Mims news has broke they've started a couple NILs and are putting all their eggs in that basket. Like they're literally using this Mims situation as a sort of Litmus test for their NILs...sounds like they're really setting themselves up for some serious tears
 
man y'all underestimating how dirty the Noles can get. They bought kids like Mims by the dozens for years, now that there is a white coach again, even if he's just as big a corch as Willie, their boosters will get desperate enough to drop big bags.

let's hope this was all ironed out ahead of time and its a done deal.

Im on this site just about everyday and I was not aware that Mario had such a close relationship with the kid during his recruitment. That piece of info is also significant because it does offset FSU's trump card of Atkins.

We can make this relatively simple.

The great thing about THIS SITE is that we have so many people with wide-ranging information, independent sources of information, and lots of different perspectives on information. A half-dozen people can comment on the same player or recruit, and we can all add and improve on each other's posts with our various information.

But on the "paid" sites, since one or two writers are the "experts" and everyone else is just an "anonymous commenter", it can become problematic when the staffer is "always right" and the other people with information are attacked as "Gaby-haters" or some such nonsense.

Nearly every person on this board actually LIKES Gaby. Nobody has a negative word to say about him AS A PERSON. The only thing that is being critiqued is his writing/reporting. We all realize he is young and we want him to improve. Nothing personal.

Some people would drag him for that but I think most understand that recruiting is fluid and changes in a moment’s notice.

He’s getting dragged because he presents himself as having inside info when all he’s saying is what we already know.

And then he tops it off with a hedge where there is no possible way he can be wrong.

Example:

“I expect Mims to make a decision within the next couple of weeks between Miami and FSU or other non SEC schools.”

An update is the current standing. So make a prediction now that way if it goes the other way you can then report what changed.

Yup. Think it's no secret a lot of guys either aren't cutting it, or, probably moreso, just don't have the juice that Mario wants and will be better off to go elsewhere (no matter how hard they're working here)...

I think guys like Reed, Walker, Traore, McG, et al are potential candidates.

I was keeping it simple, specific information provided in that update was new to me. Nothing more, nothing less.
