Amari Carter

Kid is going to go to the league and ball out some where and we will be like why he didn’t do that here? And plus you can still play after targeting in the NFL
And he will probably be doing that as an weak side linebacker.

Carter, Ford, McCloud are Manny Specials. Senior JAGs who start and play no matter what. Manny should suspend Carter next week. How else is he going to learn?
Carter is playing out of position. He should be playing striker or Wil linebacker. And he’s getting a raw deal on some calls imo!

We failed this kid by not making him a true outside linebacker. And defense would be better for it. You can’t tell me he’s be worse than McCloud.

Could this cat actually be a decent lb?

Saying that, could he actually be worse than Flagg, McCloud or Jennings?

Targeting is speering or targeting the head. If he’s sliding and Carter is diving, it can’t be targeting. It could be a late hit but you don’t throw him out the game. Especially when their safety led with his helmet.
Cater is getting a raw deal on some calls. And if a QB is not sliding 5 yards before a defensive player how does he know if he will try to run through you or slide? They need to fix the rule that if the QB is within 5 yards within a tackler he’s a runner.

The game is bang bang and making a decision to lay off a QB 5 feet away is impossible!

What if he’s a QB that’s trying to get that extra one yard on 4th down for a first? He’s been running for 10 yards and need 11 for a first down.... now as a defensive guy you need to decide to clock him or wait to see if he decided to slide. Who can make the right decision in a game moving this fast?

And if a defensive player goes for his legs and the offensive player drops his head below his waste to protect himself how is it the defensive players fault for an accidental head to head collision? The runner is trying to protect his body and legs and dip his head down to also deliver a blow to the tackler. It’s either a no call or they should review if the offensive player is more at fault.

These calls are too one sided against sometime defenseless defensive players that are already in the act of a tackle when the offensive guy drops his head into the tackler.

We might as well start playing touch football if they don’t clean up the rules.
