Always feels good to beat VaTech

Happy for the kids I know they put in a lot of work. They came here to beat teams down like this on a weekly basis and at least for this week they get to enjoy the feeling. Canes aren’t losers I hope they take that to heart.

Blowing out VTech 2 years in a row can’t remember last time we can say that. There is just something that feels right trouncing these guys. They are probably the biggest Cane haters out there.

As far as the corches. Still not impressed. Same terrible playcalling, predicable 3rd and 1 shotgun dives going no where. Old Dominion beat this vatech team. We ran 66 plays and put up a little over 300 yards of offense. That’s weak by today’s CFB standards. Still want an OC.

We wasted an entire season of Jeff Thomas, Perry, brevan, Dallas, Homer, j Jackson, Johnson, m Jackson’s career only getting to 6 wins. I’m sick of seeing dope players not getting to fulfill their goals becuase of inept coaches who don’t know how to use them.

We all thought this was the game we might lose before the season. None of us ever imagined beating FSU and Vtech could be this ugly.

If you wouldn’t have told me we would be 6-5 after beating FSU and V Tech I would have said go **** yourself. Man this has been a crazy year. Can’t wait to hype over 2019.
 
I went to a game at Blacksburg once, and never again. I was sitting in seats given to me by a VT alumnus with my two young boys, surrounded by what looked like mostly middle aged boosters and alumni, so I assumed the crowd would be at least semi-civilized. Boy was I wrong. The fans around us were rude, obnoxious and disgusting, and even directed expletive-filled rants at my boys...the youngest was 9 years old at the time!

After that experience I always get an extra special joy from beating those @$$h0les, and even more so when we beat them at home.

I’ve been in hostile territory for many games over the years, but that place was the worst ever.

In 1992 we came up to dome for Miami game. Chris Gedney R.I.P. was tackled at the 2 as time expired. As we are leaving, I am am 11 st the time, some Su fans call me out and tell others to “get that kid” or “kill the kid in Miami coat”. My dad was 3 tours Nam spec ops. He unzips his coat and stuffs me in there. There guys arrive and he says to them, “I was trained by the us govt to kill. This is my ****** son. You either walk away or I will take care of you.” When he finally un zipped me people wouldn’t come near us.

I feel your pain. You NEVER **** with family. It’s a game. Leave that bull**** at home.

SMFH...... at the gatech game this yr some dumbass tech fans started talkin major **** at other canes fans around me. Many of us had kids etc. I went ahead and left cuz i aint throwing punches if i feel my kids are threthened. Im stabbin bytches in the fuggin throat and in the nuts. I didnt have a knife but my fuggin pen and pencil would suffice. I never look for trouble and dont want to fight but gottdamit, specially when it comes to fam, "you better be ready to match my intenisity bytch" if u come fuggin around over dumbshyt

Agree, this a fuggin game. All that other **** is bs.

I seriously struggle understanding some of the reactions on this site. I respond to a thread about how it’s always good to beat VT, with my own personal reason for especially enjoying a Miami win over VT, which receives a couple of relevant replies and a couple of “thumbs up” reactions...seems about right. Then I notice a “thumbs down” reaction from some user with a user name that seems Miami-friendly.

I can’t figure out if this is just typical internet, message board BS, a fake Miami fan being a troll, or emblematic of our schizophrenic fan base.

I apologize if my bashing the hated VT and their fans offended anyone who claims to be a Miami fan. Maybe you are a closet Hokie, and need to trade in your orange and green for that horrid brownish purple color they like so much.
