I have no issue with players liking their coach. Certainly can understand Chocolate, since most thought he would never make it. Players and fans judge coaches from different perspectives. Players can and often do love losing coaches; fans never do, nor should anyone expect them to. Actors will take parts in movies that audiences hate and will not pay money to see.

I am a fan, so I wish Al would get a great birthday gift -- a job someplace else.
