**** Perry missed two wide open bombs plus a TD to Thomas thrown behind him to let defender get hand in. This is not on the coach. We just don't have QBs making plays when they are there.

Perry missed one wide open bomn, and the WR did not help so stop acting like is suppose to be perfect because few are. He had 2 bad throws all game it now he is the most inaccurate qb on the planet

Yep. Howard was one in ten thousand, and that was a different era.

it’s a much more complex job today to run a program. Not even saying the game itself is more complex. The sport, recruiting, facilities, staff, admin, S&C, schemes, game plans, play calling, data, film, off field issues.

UM is not serious about football, but recognizing that, it should never hire someone who has to learn on the job. At least at UGA, the infrastructure and support meant smart could focus and have reliable help and guidance.

He missed two clean pocket bombs. 2nd quarter to kj Osborn and 3rd quarter right after fumble to Harley. Perry had all day on designed plays. Just missed them. They change the calculus of both quarters if he hits them. Also the TD miss to Thomas he was wide open and under threw it. Perry played good. You just gotta make those throws when you have em open.

I stand corrected, he was 4-13 in one season-plus in Baltimore.

But he was hardly proven as a head coach and I'd love to see the reaction if Miami ever hired a guy with that record in his only stint as a head coach.

He missed 1, Harley clearly stops/slows down in his route for whatever reason, and Pope dropped his so 1 ball that was all of him that he missed

OK, but we won, it's a great way to start the weekend and I want to highlight one guy -- Greg Rosseau.

Yeah, we have a lot of guys that might play at the next level, but we dont have many elite guys --- he's one of them. 15 is a future All-American type. And beyond that, you can tell he makes others around him better. Garvin had a nice game(best of this season), Nesta seemed to do some stuff inside. We are seeing a great player blossom right in front of us

Now, why was he used so sparingly previously?.... OK OK, Im not going to do this, we won. Gonna keep this as positive as possible. But there are still issues with this program, but hopefully, they can continue to improve and string together some victories.

Offensive play calling was suspect. 3rd- and 18 and Enos calls an option. Made me want to punch something when he plays for field positioning instead of playing for the fresh downs.

I was driving and won’t watch until tomorrow but can already tell you any slow developing plays with this OL is a terrible idea. Just can’t make calls like that and expect success. We do not have bama’s line.

I really hated that sequence at the end of the first half, 2nd and 1, and basically a first down gets you into the half with a 7-0 lead. Instead of just running it up the middle and moving the chains, they get cute/dumb, have to punt and the D ends up giving a field goal up

Just poor game management on so many levels

Watching South Carolina is eye opening. We’re not relevant or serious as a program. They’re better coached, better S&C, comparable athletes. And they are middle of the road.

Howard was head coach of the Baltimore Colts prior to becoming UM's head coach. The only uncertainty was if he was able to get into recruiting but we all knew he was a big time hire. But at the time he was hired, he said he noticed that Saban started to turn things around. He also noticed that good ol' Henry King Stanford was committed to winning.

Can we please do this? Bedenbaugh would kill it with our offensive talent and couple him with a great DC who’s more of a development coach and just let Manny call the defense. You could see the fire in the kids eyes last night. They wanted to play hard for him.
 
Do you think he's really going to come here? Besides, he has an offensive line background. He'll have a complete rebuild job on his hands the instance he sets foot on campus.

You're setting yourself up for a serious let down if you think just changing a coach will magically change that. There are no silver bullets regardless which route you take. At this point, you try to eke out wins until reinforcements arrive.

Does that mean Enos is the guy to do it? That's a different question.

I think Manny has to do as his namesake, that is man up, and tell Enos he’s got 6 games to go spread or see the door. Same with Baker, Manny’s influence on the defense in the schemes called and the way the players played was night and day to Baker’s try. As to Bedenbaugh, offer him $1.5M do be Assistant HC/OC and let him bring in his OL guy. That solves the Enos issue, gets us a much better/progressive OC who also seems to coach QB’s well, and allows Bedenbaugh to bring in someone he likes as OL coach. That, and with the results of Enos’ firing it would show Manny doesn’t see ***** around.
