You know, what I definitely want to fix the program from its mediocre mess of the past 15 years is to hire a guy who's never done the job before and from his own mouth only wants to worry about football. Makes total sense.

He won't be AD, but he should be involved in some capacity with football only.

If not, what makes anyone think Miami would do it? Not from a vision POV but financially. We are JUST getting them to open the purse strings for a coaching etc. Does anyone think they'll completely go HAM and completely rebuild this thing into a never before seen arrangement? I'm hesitant..

I think Chief of Staff is fairly common at big programs.
