I mean to be honest, if you want real change, having Highsmith come in and having to battle Manny's ego and political connections and James cowardice (though powerful cowardice) wouldn't be an optimal situation for him to make an impact anyways. Even with power it would be a ****show. Let them fail harder next year so people revolt, bigger changes occur, and Highsmith can maybe come to a better situation than having to play seesaw with two idiots.

UM, Blake James and Manure Diaz will rue the day they got between us and one of our cane hero’s Alonzo Highsmith. All **** and fury will be rained down on blake and manure this coming season by us fans that will make the toxicity of goldens last season look like a bed time story. I’m flying a banner game one all on my own and I would expect banners to fly every game. This university has finally crossed the line with us fans! Fvck UM and let it burn!

Then enjoy purgatory. I hope they fail so we can de-root the garbage. Been a fan for decades and have seen enough trash this past 15 years. You must be happy with occasional 9 win seasons that grant 4-5 year extensions.

We need James and Diaz out and together. It's time.

how much you donate? thats the only thing that matters. you can fly every banner you want, but once the big money donors withhold donations, thats when change happens.

out of curiosity, say we win win 10 or 11 next year bc the new O is a hit, you would still want manny gone? i dont think **** hit 11 anyways so **** be fired and blake shouldnt have an AD job but the BOT loves him so here we are with him.

You mean it was dumb to create a position because two dipchits sucked at their jobs and rather than address the real issue, we choose to invent a position. But this UM, who is better at hiring the unemployable but us.

Instead of dealing with the issue; firing Blake and bringing in a competent AD with passion and autonomy, the best idea is too waste more resources and time!

No. The best idea was to bring in a competent AD with passion and autonomy TODAY/YESTERDAY. Then let this person run athletics. This would include picking the HC and/or any chief of staff positions. That is it.
 
I'd rather fire Blake and Manny, get a real AD, have him perform a real search, then use the money we'd spend on Alonzo to get a better staff of actual coaches who can also recruit.

I'd still like Alonzo but not if he has a huge salary and it takes away from what we can pay the coaches.

Considering Blake isn't gone by now, I am convinced there is no reason he will ever be fired. He was originally hired because we were lazy. There is no metric by which Blake James has shown/had success in football.

Him being a puppet doesn't make him qualified for the position either. It just makes him good at being a puppet.

If we're going to bring in a real AD. There is an obvious option which makes more sense but he may be too cheap for UM.

TNM is about an individual’s job being safe instead of properly critiqued.

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

We should’ve really foreseen incompetent decision making like this happening under Manny a mile away. We had already seen it with Blake. Blake and Manny were just never going to allow this to happen. 8 wins is the new standard and with Lashlee we’ll get to at least 8 wins and Manny will get a 3rd year. Book it.
