Enough of this Butch Davis talk he is just as much to blame for the decline of Miami as Coker is. If he never had left then Coker never would have been in over his head and started the decline of this program.

There were several players he looked right in the face (ie Bryant McKinney) talked them into staying and then he bolted for the CASH !!!

So yawl can sing the praises of THIS GUY all you want but the BOT and Admins will never forget how he bolted and lied .. We have been in utter decline as a program ever since .. Yes he was a decent game day coach, SUPERIOR talent evaluator, and if your honest at the forefront of the decline of our program.

Got news for you play whatever scheme you like the team that blows the other one off the ball dominates .. I personally think the team quit as they had nothing to play for in the last two games after FSU loss BOTTOM LINE

You can call them plan Z kids if that makes Golden's **** taste better to you, but it doesn't change the fact that they are more talented than any kids at any other ACC coastal school. The same ACC coastal that we are tied for last in.

Thing you're not realizing is that players can look more talented depending on what you ask them to do.

How do we know that Miami doesn't have any high caliber DE's when all we ask them to do is engage every play instead of playing to their skill-set and attacking?

The most talented pass rusher on the team(Muhammed) got suspended this season.. Second best was McCord who we asked to do different things cause we needed him on the field in more than just a rushers role.

The whole goal of playing defense is to get off the field on 3rd and long you name one guy that consistently brought heat of the edge this season. Scheme wise could we be more crafty with corner blitzes and bring pressure YES. But every once and a while a guy has to beat someone and get to the QB.

None of that **** matters on Saturdays when we still have more talent. We didn't lose to Louisville, Pitt, GT and Virginia because they have better facilities than us.

We're signing quality recruiting classes. Are you telling me they're not reaching their potential because of the field they're practicing on, or the dumbells they're lifting, or their locker rooms?

You fans are unbelievable.. LOL. So now Alonzo Highsmith cant tell you anything either (that you will listent to.) FSU was right where we were when Jimbo took over the reigns.. Jimbo made the administration invest in training table, nutrition facilities etc.

What people fail to realize is that we play all of our top recruits as freshman out of NECESSITY at position (interior line) where you have boys vs men (trenches) we are forced to do this cause we have no depth.

Yes we missed on some kids took some chances on some bad ones. WHY? Because of the cloud that was over our heads NCAA. New flash if Trent Harris and Chad Thomas have to play as true-freshmen we are way short on depth. BOTTOM LINE.

We talk about glory days.. there were few times in glory days where true-freshman played. As I have said before we recruit talent and we are 1-string deep on offense and defense . That's not good enough to be an elite football team.

But I know some 'wise guy' will be silly and say facilities dont matter, Well how can you recruit against major players and provides these athletes what they need with inappropriate facilities.

This is not the 80,90,2000s .. back then we were trail blazers in many ways in college football. Now the secret is out , teams are poaching our talent (from FLORIDA) other teams rosters are also littered with FLA speed and talent.

Please stop comparing and contrasting the past to the present.. We were stock piled 3-4 strings of talent that would start anywhere in the country. That's not what we have now (player wise)

We are getting there (per last two recruiting classes) . Could the coaching have been better YES. But how hard is it to COACH at BAMA with all the talent they get in the program. We are better skill position wise (offensively) but LIGHT YEARS behind in DL talentand O-Line talent and safety talent.

Didn't read none of this mumbo jumbo.

Again, we didn't lose to UVA, GT, Louisville and Pitt because of our training tables and locker rooms.

First, get a coach that puts players in a position to succeed. Next, take the success the team has from that and reinvest the program.

The administration not having the vision to take advantage of the success in 2000-2002 is disgraceful. The really sad part is I'm not sure any of those clowns would do anything different with the benefit of hindsight.

We couldn't stop the run because our D-line were in frog stances and played on our side of the LOS.

I really can't believe that you guys are all getting ****ed because Alonzo is doing this just to upgrade the facilities, that seriously need to be improved. Right now the goal is for an IPF and some other things. Hopefully it'll grow, and become a way for us to get a stadium, or other things that we obviously need. And if you don't think our facilities aren't a problem you are lying to yourself. We are so far behind other programs its ridiculous.

This is not a fund to fire Al Golden. He isn't saying that he wants Golden to stay here. He is saying this is to improve the facilities, because whether we have Butch or Golden, the facilities are still crap, and will be crap until someone other than the school does something to change it; because it's obvious they don't care. Whether you want Golden (IDK who does) or not, you should still want these improvements. Plus just because we could raise the money doesn't mean they'd even fire him. ****, they have money to fire him right now, and it would obviously be a better financial decision, but they still aren't doing it.
