Going towards Golden and be directed towards the administration. Golden is doing what any of us would do if we had a job paying us 2 million plus a year. I wouldn't resign and I would keep trying my best to right the ship. At some point you tell yourself that simply you are not good enough but you still don't give up. He has a chance to set up his kids for the rest of their lives. Every ounce of hate should go towards the little troll and the biggest puppet AD I have ever seen. This travesty would not happen anywhere else but Miami.

As much as I want Golden gone, I have to agree. It's the administration and their history of cheap hires and bad decisions that needs to go first. If they don't and Golden is fired, who here thinks they replace him with someone better? I sure don't trust them to. They'll head straight to the bargain bin and hope they find a treasure. I want the next head coach to be hired by the next leadership, NOT the existing one.
 
Yes, but "trying your best to right the ship" would undoubtedly involve staff changes after a sub .500 season in year 4. He's not even trying at this point. He's an arrogant man who cares more about being right than righting any ship. And he continues to insult the administration who foots his paycheck directly and the fan base who foots it indirectly at every turn.

I'll stick to hating him too, thanks.
 
We are doing what any of us would do after a 6-7 season after year 4 and no hope in the head coach.

You have an agenda. I don't need anyone telling me who I need to direct my feelings towards. Or what someone else would do in said situation. Actually I think half of this board would make better decisions than that clown running this program. The problem with your theory is that Golden has quit. It couldn't be more obvious that he's stealing checks at this point. Stop being an enabler.

Pointless thread. There's so much well deserved hate to go around that it need not be directed. ****, we got hate just sitting in storage lockers right now that can be directed at anything less than an acceptable pres. hire. No need for precision hate attacks, OP. The carpet bombing is deserved and perfectly acceptable.

His arrogance is indeed disgusting.

From blaming the players, to complaining about fan disgust after making "progress" from a 9-4 season to 6-7 season, he is an absolute disgrace to the University of Miami.

the administration is definitely the main culprit here, but Golden definitely deserves criticism for his failures on and off the field. This guy has not fired anybody yet after a losing season. That is absurd. ABSURD
 
This dude couldn't care less about "righting the ship". He doesn't even want to be here, so why would he fire coaches that he's friends with? He dared UM to fire him and they didn't, so he's going through the motions to collect his money.
