Relative mope here. I thought we would win. I definitely was not getting my hopes up, but we've been due and I thought we were a good matchup for TAMU.

I did not think we would play like that offensively, and it was just such a different vibe watching that kind of offense and success against a really quality opponent. People will **** on TAMU and the entire SEC. They should. But that's a team loaded with talent. We more-than matched that talent at important spots.

Credit to TVD and the receivers. I definitely didn't have high expectations for that group coming in.

Prayers up for Kam.

No clue of your fondness for Menmon 😂; just humorous how two posters can say practically the same thing with one drawing the ire (joking, of course) of one of the board's elder statesmen. Why is that and the previous comment raining on your parade? I said upfront I have mope tendencies. And the closing comments are just lending perspective. I'm absolutely thrilled with what I saw today. The resiliency, the execution, the atmosphere - maybe a prisoner of the moment, but the most exciting game at least in recent memory.
I guess the most subtle way I could lend perspective would be to say that today was a statement, but not a signature win. For me, stating that doesn't detract from the moment. Go 'Canes!

The slurper side in here is desperately trying to beat on the mopes for anything they can latch onto. The problem is that there really isn’t a divide on the season outlook and play on the field, unlike the divide in recruiting, so it’s just annoying. Here’s the pre-season poll results:

Less than 5% of the board said we’d go 6-6 or worse.
77% said 8 wins or better and 95% said 7 wins or more.

Just more foolish idiocy trying to start trouble. So if the slurpers want targets, they can see exactly who voted for what here…
