I'll take it though. If they beat LSU week 1 then they're almost guaranteed to be a top 10 team by the ACCCG (very weak schedule). We need that.

If Clemson and Miami win week 1 then the ACC is going to look strong. SMU needs to grow a pair and schedule better OOC games.

I get your point, but isn’t that metric defined as being five or more away from the mean? FSU shouldn’t be anywhere near this list. And these two guys aren’t wild outliers either.

Those two guys are pretty sizeable outliers. They are near the bottom of the list of 65 voters. One is 64th, the other is 54th, as far as having the ballots that deviated from the consensus the most.

And I agree, nobody should have given a vote to FSU.
