Pate is one of the few national guys that gets it. He's pretty fair across the board.

I'm super curious to see how SMU does this year. Is Lashlee the super coach that many of CiS think he is, or did he get a little lucky along the way with his fast paced offense and Hurricanes that weren't FyZiCaL enough?

I think they just caught lightning in a bottle. Most of their wins were convincing. They should have lost vs Duke but pulled it out. I think they come back down a a little this year and lose to Clemson, Miami and UL in the regular season. With toss ups against Baylor/TCU

They had a baby **** soft schedule last year and got beat by the only decent teams they played.

He thinks Lagway can/will be the best QB in the country. Hes leaning into his SEC homerism building up UF becuse the rest of the SEC east is trash and he needs UGA to have some cred if they slip up and dont make the SEC title game.

oh I just knew he grew up in GA and seemed to have more intimate knowledge of the UGA program. Never really has come off to me as a fan of the Vols

He was an Iowa State fan as a kid. A lot of people think its a façade but its not.
His family is a divide of Auburn and ND fans.

The AP really believes in Texas, Penn ST, Oklahoma, Clemson & UGA.
LSU should feel disrespected more than anybody. In terms of returning talent + added talent via Portal & HS, they probably have the most stacked "win now" roster in CFB.
I guess the weighing factor that kept them from getting any 1st place or hardly any top 5 votes, was Big Game Brian Kelly.
