Especially considering his size (probably 210-215 as a freshman) I don't think he takes a back seat to anyone besides Duke. Difference is Dukes competition.
 
Why people think Matt Thomas is a more important recruit than Collins is a mystery to me. I would take a franchise type RB like Collins over an elite playmaking OLB any day of the week.

Our problems with not having playmakers on D is more needed with Thomas.

You guys are going to lose your mind when you see his runs against Seminole ridge and nova. That tape is just against an awful stranahan team. He is an absolute horse. The only negative I've seen in 2 years is he fumbles too much. That might have to do with the large amount of carries he has though.

Yeah there's always a fine line when you are talking about bad competition. Thing is though some guys just have skills that you know will translate.
