Alarming quote from Ferman in his Wedn. Update

This is a potential issue - Highsmith is asking for certain powers that are vested with Manny through his contract including, but not limited to, hiring and firing assistants, coordinators, etc. Giving Highsmith what he is demanding creates a legal issue for the University. Trust me, I want Zo here as much as anyone, but it isn’t as easy as people think.

Mammy and Flake have to agree to have their contracts modified, or be FIRED. Obviously, the BOT lacks the balls to do this.

Not like this is new to us fans.. got to raise **** at every turn. Basketball games, swim meets, chess club, fundraisers, everywhere. Hold up a sign or yell it out

Never thought I’d see CIS on its knees eating Sperman’s booty.

Any chance the real Pete Ariz can pop in and deliver some bombastic work every once in awhile?
It’s pretty bad. Pete left and they never filled the “insider” vacancy. As a result, we have people starting threads off of what Gru Ferman and DBC are saying and people are eating it up bc they’re desperate for information. Then you’ve got people who essentially are trying to run guys like Brooklyn off the board - a guy who can provide some insight and perspective.

CIS needs that Ivins-type guy to help stem this shît.

We can trash on Gary Ferman all day, every day...and 99% of what he says is often rubbish.

But, I will say this...he's had legitimate contact and been around the program every day for what...almost 20 years - literally associating with everyone. There are very few that if he were to provide any actual insight could give you a better idea of how much of a country club it is there...if he and Barry Jackson are basically telling you its a **** show in there, its probably a **** show.

I don't believe Ferman is lying when he's saying **** like this.

Its one of the reasons I believe Pete when he talks about Blake James and Jenn Strawley. He was there intimately for years. Knows everyone. He's seen these people from multiple angles as a reporter, as a student, as a guy, and now as an agent and liaison. The fact that he's a fan allows him to take things a little more personal.

Its always been a ****show in there. They were harboring a pedophile and tens of gigabytes of child pornography on their own servers and no one knew **** until some lowest level tech specialist found it when they were updating the computers. It was 10 years ago.

uh-last part? Whaaaat?

I wish it were that easy bro. Agree the modify your contract or you are fired - Manny would have the lawsuit of the century. What they should have done is make the contract’s validity beyond the first year or two conditioned upon a certain winning %. They are morons. Seriously.

The thing that Blake and Manny fail to realize is that a strong football AD isn't a threat, it's their key to lasting past next season.
What suprises me is I’d think James sees his interests differently from manny at this point. Manny is gone in a year. James should be focused on a narrative to live through that. Having a head of football ops to make the call will deflect attention from James.

I suspect Manny’s dad’s friends are the wrinkle here, so James is boxed in.

You speak with tremendous authority on Manure’s contract. Can you post those portions of Manure’s contract where UM agreed to give him full authority to hire and fire assistant coaches?
I said it is a potential issue. I don’t have his contract, but I’m a lawyer and an adjunct professor at UM law, so I’m just spotting “potential” issues like I would for a class. But it could be that simply lack the balls to have a guy like Highsmith around. Don’t know.

More power with more wins? Interesting. Not a criticism just something I never thought about. Has this ever been done before? I haven’t practiced in years but it’s fascinating. It would seem like you could do it with rookie and less established head coaches though the Agents would fight it. But even then, they could sell their clients that if they win, they will get more autonomy than they would’ve had under a normal contract so there’s that upside.

Why not - freedom of contract and nothing illegal about a retention provision. If Manny wanted the job “that bad” than why not make it a term?

Strictly my opinion - No way Blake voluntarily cedes authority to a Football Guru and Manny doesn’t want that over his shoulder either based on the type of hires he seems to make.

I don’t get these guys. I love hiring people who are smarter than me and Know more about technical matters than I’ll ever know. I give them a fear-free forum. They give me the benefit of truth and information and have saved my âss a bunch as the decision maker.

This is typical Furrywoman. Convenient narrative change when his original lies/spin/conclusion jumping doesn't come anywhere near to fruition.

Continue to slurp it up at your own intellectual peril.

All this ever was and will ever be was Zo open to a job (a real job with real power) at his alma mater when it became evident he wasn't going to he retained in Cleveland. Then Furrywoman creates his own narrative and buzz and non-existent progression of events and Flake and the school are eventually forced to react to/quash the noise in their typical disappointing limp-wristed accomplish nothing ways.

I wish you were around when they did this thing. I’d ask you your specialty but I don’t want to identify you.

You’ve summed it up perfectly. Pete left a gigantic void, and it’s unfortunately been filled by trolls and morons posting Spermbag clickbait and **** from some poor mentally challenged ******* with Aspergers.
