I heard from Bob Stoops' real estate agent that Chad was seen carrying a jug and a washboard at school. We should be worried.

There's almost no future for euphonium players except military bands. Now trombone, or sound engineering, I suspect that's different.

Where did those rankings come from?

Given the information in this thread, he'd be nuts to go anywhere other than UM.

Even if it's off by a few.... I'm still surprised UM is top 10 in the country. I knew it was a great program, but didn't know it was THAT good. Wow.
 
Dean Shelley Berg has made incredible strides at the School of Music. When I graduated in 05 the place was already chock full of amazing talent, but Berg is taking things to a new level. He's bringing in top talent from all over the world to teach there, internationally-known guest artists for concerts and master classes, he's even revamped the music curriculum. Dude is the truth.

They've owned college football for the last 4 yrs and put many players in the league. Any major football player with aspirations of playing for a national title and moving on to the NFL are going to consider them right now. It's that simple. We need to show them on the field and they will start staying put.

band music you hear at the games aren't exactly the kind talented kids dishing 50K for tuition like to play
