Maybe, 2 is the base, also keep in mind that 13 years ago Alabama was already 10 years ahead of us in terms of boosters, athletic foundations, and facilities. The Alabama-Saban marriage was a perfect match. Wouldn’t have worked with anyone else in the same way.
 
Baker will confuse them by playing seniors, having DBs 10 yards off the WRs, and LBs so out of position their unpredictability will cause blocking rule confusion.

That's Saban's record in neutral-site openers at Bama. We better hope we can even score. Anyone who thinks that this game will even be remotely competitive or we have a chance because of roster turnover is either the biggest homer known to man or has a room temperature IQ. Maybe both

I don't believe in over legislating, but any time there is a dominant run like this there are usually changes. I think we could see a decrease in overall scholarships by 10, but the biggest thing that has to happen is a spending cap and floor. Having teams with $5mil recruiting budgets recruit against teams with $1mil budgets is insane. Unlimited spending on staff and facilities. I think that's the biggest thing. I also think you've go to have a spending floor; we can't have teams hoarding money and not spend on their athletics because of revenue sharing. We need competitive teams or GTFO
 
If I'm a player who's good enough to get a scholarship, I'd be **** ****ed if I was forced to go to some crap school because a draft told me I had to. I want to go somewhere that will give me the best education and chance at the NFL.

Sad as I am that Smith went to Bama instead of here, have to admit that there's no way he sniffs the Heisman or gets a shot at being drafted top 5 if he comes here. Remains to be seen if that's the case with the current staff, but can't blame the kid given our situation during his recruitment.

Agreed let’s start winning the coastal and bringing down Clemson before we address Bama, Inc.

I think they’ve built up such an advantage that anything short of a major overhaul and they will continue to dominate.

They may fall off a little though once Saban retires. That guy is a lunatic and just has an unnatural and continuous lust for winning. One of those Pat Riley type coaches who hate to lose more than they love winning.

Saban is the opposite of Eddie O who let his lightning in bottle run in LSU get into his head.

Granted the guy is playing with a loaded deck, but Sark's play-calling made me envious. Everyone knew who was gonna get the ball(#6) on several occasions and he still schemed him open or open enough for Devonta to do his thing. ****, he even schemed open the "possession receiver" being covered by Wade with that motion. He uses motion with a purpose. They are gonna miss that more than anything. He's a better play caller than drunk that for sure.

Kinda ironic that this site has so many fans that think of themselves as "alphas" and call Diaz a "beta", yet all these self-described alphas would love to get cucked by Bama and Saban.
