Alabama Love MEGA THREAD

Closer than the experts think. If we can avoid that classic Bakker Barrage 28 point surrender in the first 4 minutes, then this can turn into a dog fight. Pitbull v. Chihuahua. But a dog fight nonetheless.
"If we can avoid that classic Bakker Barrage 28 point surrender in the first 4 minutes" -

I laughed..... and then I cried. De madre

Bama had to replace 12 starters from 2019 and they ran the table with ease.

O: Tua, Jeudy, Ruggs, Willis
D: Davis, Jennings, Lee, Lewis, Diggs, Mayden, Carter, McKinney

What was the ranking on recruits when butch davis was here. His last 3 years, just curious, anyone have the #'s

It helps fuel the culture after its already built. If that weren't the case, Texas would be right up there with them.
**** fine academic university; very good athletic department. We will see if third times a charm of Sark. Not sure UT has the sleaziness in the institution.

Starts at the top and works itself down...

School it selfs prides itself on winning

athletic department demands it

coaching staffs that enforce, strive and achieve winning/excellence
And they buy the best talent in college football. We should be asking why Saban ever loses.

The man was a complete and utter failure when he stepped into a level playing field.

You think that anybody can compete other than Clemson and a lesser extent Ohio State and Oklahoma? As long as you can hire former HCs at will as analysts and GA staffs unlimited then there will be little parity in college football. Plus, the NCAA does token enforcement. Boosters and money is the worse it has ever been.
Sure. There are programs with structural advantages. UGA and LSU should be right there. Texas should be a top 3 program every year if it was run right. It's probably got the best advantages in the country from resources, recruiting territory and conference ownership. OU is next level. USC and ND have shots to be highly competitive. UF and FSU do also. For UM, it's about the local talent.

Also the extra head coaches is a distraction. People are so triggered by Alabama they can't see how to learn from it. Saban built that program without the extent of analysts he had today. And he'll be retired before we're any good. The point is we can get a lot better. It makes no difference whether that means we can compete with Saban because again, he won't even be there. The point is we should set the path properly to win the Coastal every year and win the ACC regularly.

Notice when Smith is torching OSU he’s not going crazy with celebrating like Pope when he holds on for dear life with an 8 yard hitch.
Wow. Thought you guys loved that sh*t. Y'all forget what Randall Hill and Chris T Jones used to do after 5 yard catches?

Hope its a rebuilding year for the tide, or that the tidal chart shows out on September 4th....

Point taken but at the end of the day it doesn’t work without Saban. That’s it. If we had hired Saban 13 years ago, we’d have at least two more national titles by now.
