His greatness is in having his team prepared week in and out. There is rarely a drop off in their play. I’ve never seen a coach do that so consistently. Urban has a loaded roster as does Dabo and neither of them can do what Saban does.

It’s impressive. He may not be the best pure coach in the CFB, but his program management is second to none.

That tough guy stuff he pulls on most of his college kids really couldnt cut it with real adults. Guys like Junior Seau and Zach Toma slaughed at him...Channing Crowder and those got over on him to. He did make Manuel Wright cry though...but he wasnt built for the nfl game and that even playing field in all honesty.

Nah.
He wasn't built to take orders from front office people. He wants/wanted total control and in the NFL (at least for the Dolphins) he wasn't getting it.

Let's stand back and look at this for a second.
On one side you have a coach who has won everywhere he's been.
On the other side you have one of the worst organizations in the entire NFL.
Ehhh, I'm leaning towards ol' Nick on this one.

I just listened to Channing Crowder call Saban the "best coach in the world" on the radio 2 weeks ago.
Belichick and Saban are cut from the same cloth. They're like brothers. You think one could handle the NFL and one couldn't? SABAN WAS A GOOD NFL DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR AT ONE TIME. The Dolphins tenure wasn't his first NFL rodeo.
 
Since our first national championship the university and city of Miami has made a lot of money off of w canes football team.university never really invest any of that money back into the football team neither has businesses are miami that have made billions off of it as well.if people around miami weren't so greedy and gave some of that back we wouldn't have to go cheap and probably could've keep two of our most famous coaches JJ and butch.if one of these coaches would've stayed miami would be Theo what bama is now.
