Are you seriously going to stick around where you're hated by everyone but the dumbasses who gave you a ridiculous extension, and are trying to cover their numbers?
How can you show your face around UM after wasting four years of our football player's efforts, just crushing their hopes, their family's hopes, and many of their future?
You have screwed these young men beyond the pale. Your incompetence is there for everyone to see, players, fans, families, sportswriters, and the public. When you got here, you said you are what you produce - and guess what? You have produced one four-year-ongoing black hole. You're in over your head, and you're not smart enough to pull it out, so do you have no shame?
Do you have no personal pride? Most people after it's clearly demonstrated that they are incapable of performing the job they have - to God and everyone - find someplace else to go. To continue playing the Joker demonstrates a complete lack of character.
You have no honor. You may think you'll be able to stick around, make a few adjustments and get by. You won't. You absolutely do not have what it takes to win here at Miami, nor do you have what it takes to win at any high level.
You are taking money for results - and you provide nothing but an inferior product. Hard work is not enough. More hours will not help you.
At some point, one has to have field intuition. Lots of field intuition. You have none. Zero. If you were a combat leader, you would lose half your men every time you go out - and that's the truth. Field intuition is absolutely necessary in combat, and after all, football is a microcosm of combat. You must be able to anticipate your opponent - not react. But worse, you don't even have enough intuition to react, and we see it on the field every game.
An honorable man would have to back up to take his paycheck for the job you've been doing. You talk about pillars, yet you violate every single one year after year, and now everyone sees you for what you are. A gilded fake. You talk pretty, but you can't walk the walk. Even your players now realize you're a fake, as your "process" has no allowance for intuition, and therefore a constant stream of disappointing losses.
Do these young men a favor. Help them reach their potential. Please don't waste their time - they work too hard for the sorry results your process provides. You are lying to these young men. You're cheating them of their potential. Some, a few, have done well in the NFL AFTER they got away from you.
Resign. Now.
Negotiate a reasonable separation - don't completely ***** the university that gave you your shot - but do so quickly - enabling a new coach time to recruit and minimize further damage to the program.
