Al Golden Rewards Offseason Champs W/Pool Party

I always get negged for bringing up Golden and his connections to his mentor Jerry Sandusky...OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!!!

Because it's a laughably ridiculous "connection." Don't like him for his coaching? Fine, there are many valid points to make on that end. Trying to tie him to a child molester. Ridiculous and petty.

He just hosted a pool party at his house for 75 shirtless all male teenagers, and it wasn't his kids birthday party.

That's ******* weird dude.

That's in the realm of weird.

Please admit you find this odd.

How ridiculous. Having the team over for a barbecue and a swim in the pool on a typical warm South Florida day isn't "weird" in any way. It's a pretty common activity and way to unwind and have some fun. That your sick mind makes it something more says a lot more about you than it does about Golden.

If this is common for you than you're a ******* creep too.

Really, getting people together to barbecue and swim in the pool is weird and creepy? Where are you from, some Taliban village?

So you routinely have unrelated teenagers come splash around in your pool with you?

Apparently you don't understand what is a team. These aren't random kids pulled off the street. It's part of the U family, the football team. Again, you're odd Taliban-esque sensibilities are quite disturbing and say a lot about your mental/emotional sickness.

Forget the Death Penalty, this guy may be WORSE THAN THE DEATH PENALTY.

Heck, if I didn't know any better I would say the NCAA sent Al Golden to us as a double agent with the purpose to destroy our program.

They knew they didn't have the evidence to penalize us much, so what's the next worst thing? Send in Al Golden!!!

Not impressed with the Golden house... Making a few million a year your think he'd have a little nicer spread.

He is saving his money for retirement, after he gets let go from Miami. Not to mention coral gables is not cheap.

Go Canes

OK, he's NOT a good football coach.
We got it.
What does this have to do with the filth that you apparently keep getting negged for?

It appears that the players are having plenty of fun with each other away from the field, which bodes well for Miami’s chances during the season. The team has been in something of a funk since former coach Larry Coker’s final season, back in 2006, and hasn’t even been in the national championship picture since then. Golden is only just starting to right the ship, and the future looks bright for the program simply known as “The U.”

Miami went 6-7 (3-5 ACC) last season, its fourth under Golden, and lost to South Carolina in the Independence Bowl. The team is 28-22 (16-16 ACC) in Golden’s four seasons and opens the 2015 season at Sun Life Stadium against Bethune-Cookman, on September 5.
