Not defending Manny but Golden lost to 2 of those teams.Ummmmm golden would kill fiu, gt, and duke.
Not defending Manny but Golden lost to 2 of those teams.
Who’s been worse?
I think the answer is obvious.
Both went 6-6. Manny lost to worst teams but Golden’s teams got blown out.
in the end,I don’t see Manny milking 5 bad seasons without getting fired so I’d rather have him. He may be fired next year
Manny will last 3 seasons at minimum. He’s definitely not being fired after 2 years. I hate to tell you.
TBH, I expect him to get a year 4. But 3 years is the earliest he might conceivably get fired.
So we’re going to suffer for 4 years?Manny will last 3 seasons at minimum. He’s definitely not being fired after 2 years. I hate to tell you.

Golden sucked for five years. Diaz so far, one.
dIAZ lost to 3 of those teamsNot defending Manny but Golden lost to 2 of those teams.
Yea much better duke and gt teams. Go look at those teams recordsNot defending Manny but Golden lost to 2 of those teams.
Correct.but lose to UVA, UL
You smoking some good ****, Randy’s best class was full of bust.LOL manny is far worse than Randy. Randy was horrendous but pulled some top classes. Diaz cant recruit at all.
With all of Al's flaws, if he just would've gotten rid of Donuts, and hired someone to be the HC of the defense, who was good, tough-nosed and fielded a speed-themed attacking D, he could've made it work here. His stubborness ruined his professional career. It was SOOOOOO obvious, but he either couldn't see it, or Donuts had a file that was going to go to the authorities and newspapers that would've ruined more than Al's career. Nothing else makes any sense. He replaces Donuts with a strong, attacking DC and let the man do his thing, and he could've rebuilt the franchise.Who’s been worse?

I've said it before...if Golden had hired someone like Manny Diaz as his DC after 2013, he would be head coach of Miami today. With all of Al's flaws, if he just would've gotten rid of Donuts, and hired someone to be the HC of the defense, who was good, tough-nosed and fielded a speed-themed attacking D, he could've made it work here. Such a shame...
Cannot tell.
Both went 6-6 in Year 1.
Both saw losses that were narrow in scope.
Golden inherited a team with a lot of talent, but it was lopsided in nature in that the vast majority of that talent were upperclassmen. It's why his blue chip ratio dropped so drastically in Year 2, despite signing 8 four star players. He would have needed an Alabama-type class just to keep numbers. Golden had a senior QB in Jacory Harris.
Manny inherited a younger, less experienced team with the worst offensive line in Miami history. He also was wedded to a traditional Miami offense in Year 1, when his personnel dictated something entirely different.
Golden's best friend was his defensive coordinator, and he stubbornly insisted on maintaining a read and react scheme that yielded historically bad numbers several seasons. We don't know yet if Manny will act in the same fashion as Golden in regards to staff changes.
So the answer is incomplete. We can't begin to say until after next season.
