Here's the quote I was referring to about Golden neglecting sub-6'1" corners, courtesy of the Miami Herald:

Even with Golden's propensity to lie about the weight of his players, I see he is well on his way to bloating Scott Patchan. "He's already 245 pounds; already wanted to go full speed. Preventative measure standpoint we will hold him out until spring break. He’s got a relentless motor."

Golden's own ineptitude is the biggest cloud the program faces. In fact, at the rate he's gaining weight, he'll go from being a cloud to a full fledged eclipse before he's through.
 
He's not even bothering to keep his lies straight. He doesn't give a fck about UM, and it should be obvious to anyone at this point. He just says whatever comes to mind no matter if it's completely contradictory to something he said 2 hours earlier.

If you watch the press conference he is totally going through the motions. His new schtick is to say "to answer your question....".

Also when he said it was not a big skill year he was lieing about what they needed, not the amount of talent. Basically he was saying they did not need skill players at miami they only needed lineman and that is why they had to go outside of the three counties.
 
3 corners in two classes.

You'd think after Goldens first year when he had a Wake Forest transfer starting for us and a former RB playing corner he'd want more depth at that position.
 
can someone please email blake and cc golden on what he said in 2013 on NSD presser vs. 2014 NSD presser vs. 2015 NSD presser? i think he's forgetting what he says to justify his misses.
