Al blades stat

Ha Ha. They might ask for a refund.

The hype is tough for a kid to deal with. Especially playing for a team that basically will just bring in 2-3 more 5* CBs in the next class and the class after that so if you don't hit immediately, you could get lost in the fold.

That said, I would blame UGA coaching more then I would TC, if they cant get a 6'2 195lb CB with legit 4.3 speed to All American status. Someone would need to answer for that if I'm KSmart. He is the freak specimen in that CB room or any CB room for that matter.

Takes more than size and speed to play football. Especially at CB

Howell plays trash cans

Edit: and mond is top 25 QBR while Howell is barely top 50, not that QBR is determinative. But you trying to big up our guys over higher rates recruits who play at championship caliber programs is asinine.
lmao using QBR is an automatic L

Ok I can agree with that. Then give me 1 guy Rumph has developed into a good CB.
We ranked #1 in Pass Defense in all of NCAA Football last year (by a decent margin). That's impressive. That's coaching as we didn't have Ed Reed, Sean Taylor and PBuch back there.

It’s going to really hurt the complainers that al blades has had a MUCH better sophmore season than either of pat surtain or Tyson Campbell too.

CB is a huge jump from HS to college and college to pro. That being said Rumph can clearly develop. **** Surtain Jr. I wish Tyson the best. He handled everything like a man. Just wish he picked the Canes. I think TC will ball going forward. On a side note does ****bag Jobe even play? He’s a CHUMP.

Go Canes!

Yeah jobe doesn’t play much. I believe campbell has been battling turf toe too some this year

I agree with what you’re saying. I also think Blades and Ivey are examples that our staff sees and believes in when they say they want guys who want to be Canes. Find the right guys and we’ll be good. Then maybe the exodus slows. My $0.02.

Go Canes!

He was a top 15 overall recruit and a 5* CB. I think he proved on the HS level that he can play CB. I am blaming UGA for this. No excuses for them.

Would love to get RattlerCane's perspective here on whats happening with him.

Interesting quote from Al Blades Jr. regarding our WR's

“It is just about competing,” Blades said of his season. “In practice I have Dee Wiggins, Mark Pope, and K.J. Osborn. The receivers all have different styles. We see the best in practice every day, so when it is game time, it isn’t a shock.”

Seems that none of the players mention Jeff Thomas

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Thomas was being hyped as the next Tyreek Hill before the season started.. Payton was taking a redshirt, not much of a comparison.

Everyone knows Thomas is one of the hardest receivers to cover on our team, just because blades didn’t say his names or others in this interview doesn’t mean they aren’t

Worst game for al blades was Probably vs fiu On the season and I hate To say that lol. But all in all he did well this year

For his first full year as a starter he played well. He should be All-ACC next year. He has big time potential.
