As always it's important to trust the opinions of quality posters rather than the quantity of shrill idiots who don't have a clue. I evaluate traits on film whereas the majority of the fanbase looks at stats, measurables, accolades and star ratings to guide their opinions.

If you guys can't filter out the noise that's on you.

I just think Ivey is slow af, which is a big weakness, how will Ivey take care of that weakness is another question.

Campbell made a big mistake chasing the bag. He has as much upside as any corner recruit I've seen since Patrick Johnson. Rumph would have turned him into a lockdown guy by now. What did he get - maybe 5 figures in the short term to cost himself millions in the long run while riding the pine on a team that lost to USCe with their 3rd string QB? Rumph should be using him as warning sign to every highly recruited DB in south florida.

CIS was way wrong on this one. We've been hearing about how Ivey was some diamond in the rough during the recruiting process and then again how great he was in practice. Blades is clearly better.

I think Mike Jack was developed to his potential, I thought Corn Elder was pretty **** good, and even Bandy is good for what he is you just shouldn't expect him to be on an island on the outside. I think Couch will be our best corner I love how fluid he is reminds me a bit of Denzel Ward. Rumphs big problem is recruiting but we knew that and I am not so sure he doesn't need a top guy to point to cause that's what all the other schools have that get top guys at their position. That or we need to start winning

Has he been burnt deep yet because of a lack of speed? Serious question. Maybe against UNC but it was also his first game starting in college

No surprise here. Al is going to be an stud! People did not pay much attention to him because there was not drama in his recruitment and many just cared about the other 3 that went to Alabama and Georgia

He was the 12 highest CB out of High School in the country ( don’t know how Samuel Jr was ahead of him) ..but with his frame and athleticism his ceiling was a lot higher than many ahead of him

I believe we have another great Blade in our hands.

It will be fun to track the tandems (Ivey/Blades vs Surtain/Campbell) as they go into the meat of their Sophomore years and into their Jr years to see whether or not losing Surtain and Campbell really hurt us as much as we originally thought it would.

(Not saying we couldn't have used them, but when we lost them some people wanted to fire Rumph immediately and fold the program. Lets just say our CBs aren't the reason the program hasn't turned the corner)

Tyson Campbell so far has been overrated. Patrick Surtain is a beast of a corner
