Blades would've had an INT on a 3rd down play that was converted if he doesn't fall on his *** against UVA. It was a great call that a stroke of bad luck happened and it became a 1st down.

Rumph CB’s always do well the first year starting. The problem is year 2 they regress. Ex. Michael Jackson and Trajan Bandy
Don't know about that. Even Bandy got beat a lot off the line last year we just had guys that could clean it up and Mike Jack was never a lockdown guy. His best games were usually against lower level guys or good matchups like bigger less explosive guys

Ok I can agree with that. Then give me 1 guy Rumph has developed into a good CB.

Should be our version of Stingley Jr.
Another criminal offense committed by the defensive staph.

Ivey not only got beat on 3rd and long, but he looked completely lost, that was tough to watch. The other play he made the right play on the contested pass, played the pocket and attacked the ball, the WR just made a better one.
Blades looks good and I think should get the nod, but both should see the field plenty.

Bandy hasn't regressed he's being asked to play out of position. He should be playing nickel. If Ivey and Blades prove they can play outside they will slide Bandy back inside where he belongs.

BAndy played primarily as an outside corner last year. The drop off in pass rush and lack of having a guy like joe Jackson’s consistent motor this season has affected db play in terms of coverage,

Al Jr has been ballin this season... He's a very good press man cover corner.

Diaz & Baker need to pull their head out of their asses & start him for the rest of the season, Ivey is a liability in coverage.

Ivey will be fine. He got beat on that one route. He had blanket coverage on the others. Just pinpoint passes by Perkins. You saw more Blades Friday night, but Ivey got his reps. I am sure that will continue against spread teams. You also saw a lot of Frierson Friday night.
