Al being Al (part 1)

In a letter to players sent Jan. 1, Golden stated his manifesto for the new year. As an example he used TCU, which went from 4-8 in 2013 to barely missing the College Football Playoff in 2014. The reason, he wrote: it became an unselfish team.

LMAO

What can we say about Golden that hasn't already been said???? For me , his biggest downfall is his inability to make changes and adapt. He's made his bed, and has refused to make changes to his **** staff. Win , lose , this will probably be his last year at UM. I'm rooting for my canes, but Golden has proven time after time that he's not a good fit here.

Let them play the games and it will resolve itself. Either will have solid year and turn it around or fail and be gone. In the meantime, the constant trashing, mocking, name calling only hurt the program.

Everyone should know now that Golden is full of sh:t but sadly thats not the case. But to say that the 2013 TCU team lost because it was selfish is blatant lie. Gray Patterson himself said the success of their 2014 team had to do with the changing of their offensive system to fit their personal something Golden has never bothered to do with the offense or defense.

But I guess he's got to motivate/manipulate his players into believing in him some how, even if it means lying to them. But what happens when his team figures out that mantra is nothing but fools GOLD?

That fat sociopath thinks he can blatantly lie in the players' faces like Walter White lying to Jesse Pinkman. He assumes the players are idiots and know nothing about TCU or that they can't do a simple internet search to see that TCU got better because it completely changed its offense.

He thinks everyone is really dumb and buys all his lies automatically because he thinks he's so smart and charming that he can dupe anyone. Classic sociopath.

I agree ....That why I say here to struggles....becasue
As a fan it hard not to be negative....

I hope the Canes are undefeated this season
but the goals and aspirations on this Staff
are not the same as the diehard fans of the program

By the way, how would that fat f@qgit know anything about what was going on in TCU's locker room in 2013 versus 2014? He knows TCU's players were selfish in 2013? Sure he does.

I laughed about this back when it happened.

Yeah, the turnaround had nothing to do with the head coach being self-aware and adapting, it was all thanks to better friendship. Sure, Patterson threw out his own offense he's used for years and gave control to two air raid specialists, but that wasn't it.

Unselfish team > complete overhaul of offensive identity.

Folden knows. He had his finger on the pulse of the selfishness of TCU's locker room in 2014 and 2013 while he was bumbling away in Miami. He was intimately acquainted with the inner workings of TCU's locker room dynamics.

Common sense is a rare commodity these days...a lot of posters cannot separate the football team/our players from Golden and the staff.

Golden shouldn't even be allowed to speak Gary Patterson's name or of his team without permission.

The real question is does golden actually believe his bull****? Does he actually believe that TCU improved because of supposed better team chemistry?

Lol, good way to throw the entire team under the bus.

LOL I can't belive that dumb ******* email was actually real. I had hoped it was some kind of internet hoax from fake insders.

smh

He is 3-8 against teams ranked in the top 25 at the time UM played them.

“I feel like he’s closer to us now,” senior linebacker Raphael Kirby said. “He reaches out to us. He helps us with anything we need. … He’s been around more, been in touch, texting and calling.”

One thing about Saban, he can care less about a players feelings

They'll give up on the season and lose the last 4 or so games.. oh wait.

Best case- wins 12 games and moves on to another program
Worst case- wins 8 games and gets to try another year, further hurting the program with his BS tactics
