I wanted to compare AJ Randle to another state champion hurdler. Here are the results:

Jeremiah Smith

110H (junior)- 14.34
300H (sophomore)- 40.69

I used sophomore 300H numbers because Florida switched to the 400H when Smith was a junior. Randle lowered it to 37.38 this season.

He has been steady moving up the lists and is now a top 100 player. If you watch his film the one thing that sticks out is that while athletically gifted he isn’t all that physical for the position. That’s just an objective observation, doesn’t mean the kid is trash just that it may have something to do with it.

To reiterate this was a massive pick up.

There is also still time and a senior season of football. Lightfoot was around this rank I believe at this time and became a 5 star. Either way a top 100 player is always a huge grab.
