Ahmonn Richards - Sam Bruce

Bruce is the most underrated player in this class, its crazy how sites rank some players ahead of him. No CB at camps have been able to stop him, no player in pads have been able to stop him, his route running is elite and one of the best in the class, just wait till the All American game practice rolls around. Richards is a player as well, finally starting to get the respect he deserves, he is faster than what most people think, he has football speed. I remember years ago seeing the highlights when he was absolutely torching Malek Young and Mullen, curious to see how he has improved. Lets not forget about Mullins, he may be better than Richards, guy dominated in camps that feature Ermon Lane, Rudolph, Phillips.

Richards and it isn't even that close to me. He also happens to be from the high school I graduated from.

Wow, what a homer.... Totally discredited after that.

Sam Bruce is better. He is a game changer. great leader. He's not a follower like other prospects. Stayed true to his commitment (so far).

Homer, please. Richards ceiling is much higher than Bruce who I feel is about maxed out. Bruce won't be getting bigger, stronger, or faster.

As for Bruce not being a follower and stayed true to his commitment, what the heck does that even mean? This is one dumb thing to say as we've had plenty of stars through the years who originally committed elsewhere, but ended up on our roster come signing day. I wouldn't call those guys followers, I'd just call them Canes, ones who followed their heart or head.

I loved the way Richards took some of those balls on slants. He catches it fluidly and keeps all his speed and makes a good cut to bring it home.

Bruce seems more like a Berrios to me (which I'm not saying is a bad thing). My one question would be does he have enough speed to be that electric against faster guys when he gets to college? I only watched a couple of minutes but that was my one question about him. Does he have Travis Benjamin type speed? If you're going to be small like that, you need that extra gear to be special.

This is exactly how i see it

Bruce and its not even close. Not to take anything away from Richards, but his competition is atrocious. Nothing he does jumps out to me and says wow. Bruce, on the other hand, is electric with the ball in his hands. There are 10 WR's in FL as good or better than Richards. There definitely aren't 10 better slot receivers than Bruce in FL, probably not in the entire US.

****, I'm not sure there is even one slot WR better than Bruce in the country.

richards has the much higher ceiling imo opinion. bruce is a little more polished at this stage in high school but we'll see. first we need to worry about getting richards to recommit.

Me too. Bruce doesn't come close to TB's speed , that guy was a legit 4.3 . Bruce is quick but I don't see good top end speed.

We sure Mike isn't Bruce's biological? Kid looks more like Irving than Mike Jr.

Agree on your take with Ricards. Guy has a higher ceiling.

Lol why is Bruce being compared to Percy Harvin come on man and Richards to Nicks that's way off

Ahmmon Richards reminds me of Marquise Lee from USC.

Great comparison, who would you compare Bruce and Mullins with ?

Bruce is Tavon Austin but a better route runner & more physical.

Dionte Mullins (idk why everyone sleep on him) is probably faster than Richards and Bruce. Scout.com got him clocked at 4.48, Richards at 4.51, Bruce at 4.53.
