You guys who pump up all of our players draft stock after 1 season are part of the problem for why they leave early. You all were brainwashed by Peter Ariz and you all still act like him and you’ll continue to act like him when he signs AR after this season and has him on a practice squad next September. Then we will start hyping up the next great UM Junior who does nothing but ride an exercise bike at practice.

I have no idea about this injury but at some point you have to play through pain. I hope we aren't taking Toledo lightly and think we can just rest AR and cruise to an easy win.

If we can’t beat Toledo with the crazy abundance of riches we have at WR, then it doesn’t matter anyway because we will be a 6 win team.

We don't need him this game. Everything works this game. Even Rosier looks accurate this game. This is dead opposite of the LSU game in terms of line of scrimmage dominance, even though the pointspread is somehow only a touchdown different.

Richards will be fine this season as long as the nicks heal and he gets out of the funk with Rosier. Richt should tell Rosier to throw twice to Richards to open the game. No matter the pattern or opponent or field position or whether Richards is actually open. Just force it to him. Richards is a like a degenerate gambler who needs the action. When Rosier looks elsewhere on early possessions Richards seems to take it as an insult and consequently overreacts to anything later, like an errant throw.

Definitely a high draft pick, no worse than third round if healthy. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't need to be handicapping anything. There was a reason Nick Saban was so desperate to land Richards in the late going and obviously referred to Richards namelessly a year later while bemoaning a player who got away and then had a great freshman season. I can still picture Saban's frustrated facial expression while saying that.

Richards reportedly ran a 4.31 in 2016. I'm always skeptical about numbers like that but it came from digits supposedly from a player's social media post after summer testing.

He already had a 37 inch vertical from high school. This is a guy who will stand out at the combine drills no matter what he does this season. But I still expect plenty this season.

Cal Ripken never impressed me at all , yes he played for many years never missed a game , but really only played (5) months or so out of the year with 4-5 star hotels and so on .Compared to the every day Joe blue collar who works (6) days a week 12-14 hours a day for 40 years or longer...THAT'S IMPRESSIVE.

Yep never understood why people freak of a Hollywood life style like Cal Ripken.

Yes, he needs to essentially put together a full season of health AND production. At the same time, I have to think his draft stock is permanently damaged at this point. The ceiling for where he can get drafted has to be capped by the injury concerns. If he can't make it through a full schedule in college, how is a team going to want to put the investment of a early draft pick AND a 4 year, high dollar contract into him? Look at what drafting Devante Parker has done to the Dolphins.

That said, he's better off getting fully healthy than he is going out there and re-injuring himself. Just, such a shame for the kid and so frustrating for the team. He is a special player, when right.

I think this is about the last we see of AR in a Canes uniform. Dude just can’t shake injuries. Don’t know if it’s a toughness thing or just awful luck. But either way, he’s gone. He is this years version of RJ/Norton. Oh well. That freshman year was fun.

RJ and Norton made dumb decisions but they are completely different situations. At least those guys were healthy for a year.

I really think this has less to do with a nagging injury and more to do with Richards getting in Rosier's face during the LSU game. AR is being punished for vocally calling out his teammate's **** poor play and CMR is punishing him for it. He's gone after this year.
