Ahmmon Richards Article

Fav recruit of class next to Quarterman.

Want him back...badly.

I say it isnt a shoe in that he comes back...that visit to BAMA will be the goods...and i hjeard the dreaded..."do whats best for you"...come in..which states that kid was leaning to leave.

he doesnt redshirt here though....Brady leaving helps out...this kid plays just like Stacy Coley imo. he's very fluid at about 6'1 180 pds...and just makes plays. Cant wait to watch him in all star game because he put up video game numbers in palm beach

Richards, Bruce, & Mullins is an absolutely monster haul of talent. possibly the best in the nation.

Cager isnt getting his spot taken by anybody. He will be what Tommy Streeter was for us his last year here but only better and for a longer period of time. Cager is big time.

All that said, we need Richards. No other way around it. Lets hope for the best. I have seen this song and dance go against us far too often.

He coming...trust.

Caged has some DeVante Parker in him like you don't just jump him. No Richards will be close but Caher will be better at least to start

thing abou Cager is...he actually runs good routes at his height...something Streeter didnt. Ive seen Cager run smooth az out routes, double moves....that kid has the goods...he just needs some more coaching and the chances..

According to o everyone here coach beard is a good coach so your saying he needs a a better coach to be good? Who would have thought dorsett would be a first rounder butbhe turned himself into one under the last staff so does that mean the last coach was better?

I don't think he meant necessarily that he needs a new coach. He needs more coaching...more time with the coaches (whomever that may be).

Cager was behind Scott, Coley, Berrios, Waters, Brady, Njuko, Herdon, Dobard, then Walton & Yearby eat up passing targets

Next season he should be the #3 guy behind and Coley and Njuko

Cager has some AJ Green attributes. He's going to be incredible if developed and used properly.

We need this guy. So dynamic. Has better tape than most WRs ahead of him. Please close.

That's what I meant by "little man attributes."

Cager can get in and out of breaks while Streeter cornered like an aircraft carrier.

Am I the only one who is amused by the notion that a high school kid wants to go to a college that let's him be himself?
Who does he think the school wants him to be Caitlin Jenner?

Hopefully he comes to improve himself and that was just small talk.

This reminds me of that cat a few years back that was committed, decommitted, played in an all-star game and we watch him sign somewhere else. Can't remember his name, made that insane catch on his football team. Can't believe I can't remember. Anyone?

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Four-star wide receiver Ahmmon Richards was committed to Miami at one time and now new UM head coach Mark Richt is pushing to get him back in the class.

Richards says he hears from coach Richt multiple times a week on social media.

“He messages me once every two days or so,” Richards said. “I talk to him quite often. He asks me about my family and stuff. He tells me that he wants me. He doesn’t really sugarcoat it.”

Richards decommitted from Miami after the Hurricanes fired coach Al Golden in October. He admits he was pleased with the hiring of Richt and that the Hurricanes became a school he was seriously interested in again.

“I was surprised because I didn’t think Georgia would let him go,” Richards said. “When Miami hired him, that was huge. What he did at Georgia, going to Miami now, I feel like it is going to be good for the program.”

One factor that Miami has going for them is their close proximity to Richards’ home in Palm Beach County. Richards admits that his mother, at one point during the recruiting process, favored Miami heavily because of the close proximity to home.

“I would say it helps, but I don’t have a problem with leaving,” Richards said of Miami being close to home. “At first, my mom wanted me to stay close to home, but then she realized how big of a decision it is and it can’t be based off her feelings. She has just told me that I have to do what is best for me.”

Richards plans to take his official visit to Miami on January 15th. He discussed what he is looking to experience while on that visit.

“I just want to hang out with the players more and be around the area,” Richards said. “I want to listen to coach Richt and get to know him more personally. [My decision] will be about if I can see myself at that school outside of football. I would say it is about where I feel at home and comfortable. Where I can go and be myself.”

Richards plans to visit Alabama on January 22nd and Tennessee on January 29th. He already took an official visit to Auburn in November. Richards says it is Miami, Tennessee, Alabama, and Auburn who are all showing him the heaviest interest at this point.

Richards is rated a four-star wide receiver prospect by 247Sports.com. He ranks as the No. 113 overall player in the country.
If somebody knows him tell him to google Alabama and Tennessee weather . I'm in Alabama right now and it's like 30 out side .

Agree with everything. He reminds me of Coley. He had good measurements at the Army game. 6'1.5 with almost ten inch hands.
