since he is not going back to Duke, what is to stop him from taking part in spring workouts/practice as a non-student if this drags on? He wouldn’t be playing for Miami. He’s just a dude hanging out throwing an occasional fade route
Pretty sure that is not allowed under NCAA rules.

Well, it's been awhile. I graduated undergrad in 1974. But back then we got a test schedule & reading assignments the first day of class. Attending lectures was optional. We just had to show up on test days. Now I suspect much is done online.
For athletes, and likely some non-athlete students as well (like a physical handicap) every class is offered via zoom, or is recorded and made available.

The schedules are extremely flexible. The athlete will take the minimum number of required classes to be eligible, and will never attend a class in person. They are quasi-students, not even part-time really.
Has any player in the last several years been declared academically ineligible? At any school?

Just remembered, Samson & another player, forget who, graduated in two years. That takes a lot of work.
There will always be some students who are very be bright and take advantage of receiving a very expensive, and high quality education for free.

Samson’s parents (or at least his dad), is likely first generation African, probably Nigerian. He/They are going to make sure that Samson gets his degree, and proabably working towards a masters now, because its all free and available. They understand the value of the education, much less for free. Get 2 degrees is probably what his parents told him to do.

Would he still come here tho without mensah?
If he waits another week where would he go and be able to enroll?

I’m not acting like I know, I’m legitimately asking

Unless enrollment dates don’t matter anywhere then barkate put all his eggs in the Mensah/ Miami basket

It sure does but remember most hogh schools offer a myriad of AP courses and the such that count as college credits.

It is not uncommon for an academically motivated student to graduate with their AA.

I saw where the 49ers are investigating that. That would be insane if they found a linkage
Jon Lynch may have CTE. The Niners also practice near SFO airport. Are they following up on the chemtrails of the planes coming and going from there?

ETA how the **** does a professional sports team "investigate" the causal link between sports injuries and electromagnetic radiation which may or may not be emitted from a facility near their campus? Are the Niners going to retain some crack team of forensic physicians who specialize in soft-tissue injuries caused by cosmic rays?

Lynch's press conference was low-information drivel meant to be consumed by low-intelligence people.
