What happens if it gets denied whats next step ?
It’s a preliminary injunction hearing. Either the court denies the motion, in which case he’s free to transfer, or it grants it, in which case he will likely appeal while Duke and Mensah (Miami) negotiate a settlement. I don’t see him going back to Duke.

He may file a counterclaim (or separate action) for declaratory relief, but Duke will argue that falls within the scope of the arbitration provision.

Bottom line, if the court grants the PI, we very likely won’t see Mensah in the spring.

Or wait until he travels to North Carolina and arrest him. Wouldn’t that be interesting.
Imagine we not win AcC - CG cause our QB gets arrested travelling to North Carolina.

(Yes I realize we will have already travelled to NC twice before the ACC CG next year but I don't care)

The south is a bunch of pussies. Im in south dakota in -40 wind chills with kids walking in shorts in t-shirts outside. I am not exaggerating either
Anybody can survive the cold. Most just don’t want to. I worked in a warehouse freezer for 15 years. It was -30 every day of my life for 10+ hrs a day. I just used a hoodie and freezer overalls. Fk it. I never want to feel cold again. I hate when it gets in the 40s down here. You can have that nonsense up there.

It’s not the cold. Hurricanes, Tornadoes nbd. The minute they mention ice, it goes chaotic down here.

The schedules are extremely flexible. The athlete will take the minimum number of required classes to be eligible, and will never attend a class in person. They are quasi-students, not even part-time really.

Not sitting in a class and playing football is one thing.
Not being registered for any classes and playing football is another.

Joe may end up allowing this, but I won't believe it until I see it. Especially when he could still enroll for summer without any exceptions being made.

I know no difference. Been here my whole life. I need to get down to miami games more often

since he is not going back to Duke, what is to stop him from taking part in spring workouts/practice as a non-student if this drags on? He wouldn’t be playing for Miami. He’s just a dude hanging out throwing an occasional fade route

Well, it's been awhile. I graduated undergrad in 1974. But back then we got a test schedule & reading assignments the first day of class. Attending lectures was optional. We just had to show up on test days. Now I suspect much is done online.
