Just checked, it’s 49 degrees in Durham with no precipitation. Unsure of the lunar phase or wet bulb conditions. For all we know, the hearing could be going on right now.
The motion called for two different kinds of remedies.
One would be a removal of the TRO, which could happen by an administrative order. The court would give both sides notice of such a thing happening, even if it takes a minute to get them the paperwork.
The other remedy was to have the hearing today, which miiiiight (?) be happening. Similar to the TRO hearing earlier this week, you would expect a relatively quick determination and announcement.
Of course, an ice storm could also be hitting the courthouse, and maybe everyone was sent home early.
Judge could have an afternoon tee time booked lolJust checked, it’s 49 degrees in Durham with no precipitation. Unsure of the lunar phase or wet bulb conditions.
I'm dying to know what happens here... First post on here, was on 247 sports for awhile.
I bet the house it’s relationship. Sit behind a federal judge for two decades, most litigators (future judges) will know you.I'm with you and find the choice perplexing. Perhaps she has strong relationship with the judge or she is not the only person at the firm actively involved?
Don't forget the 5* Chefs. The steak discussion was legendary. We’ve got Supreme Court level lawyers here
We’ve got world renowned sports injury specialists
We’ve got X and O football gurus that make Bill Walsh look retarded
I’m looking for our therapists to step up and help me here
Where did I say I was underwhelmed? I said it’s the weirdest CV I’ve seen. 18 years as a clerk, sandwiched between stints at the same firm. That is not a big gun. That is someone with very little first chair experience.

A UNC undergradHeitner is not directly representing mensah in the TRO. He's repped by a huge national firm with NC office, SHUMAKER, LOOP & KENDRICK, LLP. They specialize in employment law, contracts and noncompete clauses. Here is his local counsel https://www.shumaker.com/professional/tricia-w-magee/
