Profit share is w the school…I assumed it was PS contract?I guess I don't understand the mechanics of NIL.
I thought it was something like, "This local car dealership will pay you X amount of money to promote them...in the hopes that your name/face will sell more cars and bring in X+ money." It's ROI, right?
So...
1. How is Duke University affected at all? Isn't NIL required to be separate from the school itself?
2. Wouldn't the fact that someone didn't want to "put on" for your school/business intrinsically diminish any potential ROI? No one is gonna hire someone as a "spokesperson" who refuses to promote them.
That’s a week 0 game. We might play them week 1Nope. FSU opens with New Mexico State.
They have Bama week two. Doubt the ACC makes them go back to back with usThat’s a week 0 game. We might play them week 1
True, but the ACC is limited in its options. Only a handful of teams can play us week 1.They have Bama week two. Doubt the ACC makes them go back to back with us

Who are they? Thank you in advance.True, but the ACC is limited in its options. Only a handful of teams can play us week 1.
Only options are SMU, Stanford or FSU. We shall see.Who are they? Thank you in advance.
The suit is not to force him to stay. It is to set a precedent and to receive monetary damages from Miami. Are they just trying to get us to pay some sort of buyout? Why would you sue the kid for him to stay around when he doesn’t want to?
FSU, at UNC, at StanfordWho are they? Thank you in advance.
They included the tweet from the Barstool guy in their complaint![]()

We don’t play SMU next year. It’s UNCOnly options are SMU, Stanford or FSU. We shall see.
UNC plays in Dublin week 0. So its FSU or Stanford then lolWe don’t play SMU next year. It’s UNC
He does want to play there but miami paying him millions more has changed the calculus to playing at miami. So coming to miami has nothing to do with not wanting to play at duke. Are they just trying to get us to pay some sort of buyout? Why would you sue the kid for him to stay around when he doesn’t want to?

FSU, at UNC, at Stanford
All three of those teams have week 0 games
One of you says SMU, but the other says UNC.Only options are SMU, Stanford or FSU. We shall see.

I really hope we don't play SMU our first game.
Any of the other options are fine.
