I’d expect the commitments after natty. I know Mensah has everything ready ti go. I’m intrigued to see if some more guys show in portal Tuesday or Wednesday that could’ve entered Friday.

I think Fletcher staying would be the only reason for Brown to consider the portal. He’s likely the lead back, sharing reps with Pringle if Fletcher has a huge game tomorrow night that makes him reconsider declaring.

Lightfoot is likely a starter in the fall, why leave when he is going to get a raise anyway? That's the issue. Kids need to learn that if you are well taken care of where you are and there's a very good chance you will get to play and thrive, there's no point in gambling on a new home, unless someone makes an insane offer.

I'd expect emory, a RB or two, trader, Kinsler if we get an OT, Malik Bryant, A LB, probably Damari, to be the main Portal candidates.

2024 it was X/jg/sam/horton, next year it will be toney/jacobs/vaughn/moore or jojo..And i think moore fits that horton role way more than jojo and he will be more patient because its his 2nd year and not his 3rd like jojo

idk what jojo plans. I don’t think us getting 2 is necessarily a sign of anything tho. We’re losing CJ, Marion, and Johnson due to graduating. We’ve already lost Ny, Ray Ray and Chance.

We need bodies at WR. And can’t simply rely on 4 freshman to fill those roles. Plus Moore and Upshaw themselves are raw and inexperienced. Maybe they’ll be ready for big roles next year or maybe not. It’s best to bring in guys with experience to push them and compete.
